No diet plan necessary, and your weight loss goal is actually doable. Did you use the MFP setup to put in your height and weight and activity level to get a calorie goal?

Yeah, just log your food every day, study your Food page and stay within your calories. One pound per week loss is a good place to start. :)

Set your goal to 1 lb per week, log your food accurately and consistently, and hit your goal as often as possible. You can eat whatever you want, but it can be helpful to try to build your meals around protein and veggies, while still fitting in the foods you really like. Good luck!

You're in the right place! Put your weight, height etc into MFP and see what your calorie allowance is. Then It's a case of eating things you like that fit in that allowance. The forums are great for tips and inspiration. The best advice I've seen here is that dieting is just about finding a personalised eating plan. All those years of getting fatter and fatter thinking I had to eat special food, starve and give up fast food were rubbish! I spent some time yesterday looking for fast food recommendations on the forums - guess who is eating taco bell next week and I expect to lose another kilo. Just get started. Adjust as you go. Eat within your calorie allowance. You'll do great.
