So I’m a big lad 18 stone and aiming to try shift 4/5 stone over the next year or so. I’ve been yo-yo with the gym for the last year however going to give it a proper crack

Workout wise what is best for weight loss I usually do something on the lines of the below and according to my Fitbit lose abour 750-1000 calories

15 min treadmill
5 mins run 9 speed
5 mins up hill walk
5 mins run 9 speed

1500m row

3 x1 min box step up

40 sit ups

15 min steeper

Any advice

    That burn looks over inflated.

How long have you had your fitbit?

Have you set the running and walking stride lengths in it right?

I’ve had it around a year! And usually burn 750-1000. How would that be done? I just put it on my wrist and used it I believe

My uphill walks (12% gradient, speed 5) only gains me 350 odd calories after 40 odd minutes of walking. Even allowing for difference in our weights and the extra exercise (rowing) that burn seems very inflated.
