10/22: 148.8 /It was too good to be true! Oh well, I'll keep chugging along. Ate under calories today by my estimate...had a slice of chocolate, hazelnut and marshmallow pizza from Max Brenner, so had to estimate. Walked 14,000+ steps and biked 45+ minutes and met my fluid goal. Now let's see if I can keep it up during the work days!
10/23: 149.8 /And now I've gone above where I ended the last round, urgh! Well, I guess I'll keep chugging along. Didn't meet my activity goal today. Here's hoping for a better tomorrow, scale wise!
10/24: 148.2 /Ok, back to day 2 of this round. Hopefully it's downward from here, but I feel bloated and gassy (TMI?), so probably not. Ate under calories today, got my fluid in and walked 15,000+ steps! So, doing well in terms of the right actions.
10/25: 147.6 /Turns out it's TOM causing the bloated and gassy feeling. Surprised at the drop because I still feel crappy. Stayed within calories, got my fluids in and walked 12,000+ steps. I need to get to some actual working out at some point!

First timer here! New to myfitness as well. I have been on a weight roller coaster this year, and hate the way I look now. 10 years ago I was 169lbs, hated it, got energized, found a plan that worked and stuck to it (mostly). I was able to get my weight down to 135lbs (give or take a couple of pounds). This year has been tough with lots of family and work stress. No motivation, then I do, then I don't. My current weight is 157 lbs. My goal is to get back to where I was happy and to fit those clothes again. I will settle for 140lbs.
Current: 157 lb

10/20 157.4
10/21 155.4 another kickboxing class today and 30 min treadmill last night
10/22 157.2 - weekends are hard to maintain. Last night went out to the Keg with friends for dinner. Only ate half of my dinner, but then there was beer and wine involved. Bad BAD BAD!!!
10/23 158.4 - going the wrong way. Yesterday no excercise and needed "comfort food".
10/24 156.8 - Ok, back on track. Just need more energy to excercise.
10/25 155.6
10/26 154.5
10/27 153.6 - Wow, I am impressed with myself. This really helps stay motivated, so thank you! Eating healthier and walking more. The next 2 days are going to be the biggest challenge. I have a LOT of problem with staying on track on weekends. Suggestions?
10/28 153.0 Kickboxing today. Great workout. Now to continue with healthy eating for the weekend...huge challenge.

It's about the daily seemingly unimportant decisions. But consistently making them everyday is what leads to results. I love the way I feel at night & the next morning after having stayed on track.

Round 12: 174
Round 13: 171.4
Round 15: 166.8
Round 16: 164.6
Round 18: 164.1
10/20: 164.8 Okay, so not as bad as I thought it would be, but I need to dig deep and focus.
10/21: 164.8 It is a gorgeous fall day here today. Cleaning the fridge, doing laundry, catching up. Going to take the kids somewhere to get some steps and exercise in.
10/22: 164.8 At least I am not gaining. Got back on the treadmill last night after two weeks of no running. My legs felt like jelly, but I did it!
10/23: 166.1 Okay, so had some good October-type food this weekend. Nothing processed, but some very good bread and cheese! My goal today is water. Lots of it.
10/24: 166.1 Not feeling it this round. Thankfully every day is a new chance to start over, so that is what I am going to do. Not off to the greatest start... could have worked out this morning but instead chose to read and respond to email and do some work. Tonight is free, so will try to get to the gym and run and watch some of the World Series.
10/25: 166.7
10/26: 167.6 I am hoping this is just junk from eating Chinese takeout for dinner last night. Nothing worse than running on a treadmill with a bunch of greasy food in your tummy. Will not do that again, but glad at least that I got my 10,000+ steps in. Cyranda, I like your idea eliminating alcohol for a time.
10/27: 167.6 Have enjoyed reading everyone's posts. Little bits of motivation along the way. I am taking the day off of work today. We are going to the pumpkin patch. My kids have been out of school for three weeks because of these fires in Northern California. We are completely out of routine and they are ready to get back, as am I ready for them to get back! It is unusually hot, too. 90 degrees and dry yesterday. So ready for this weather to turn!
10/28: 167.6 I drank 96 oz of water yesterday. Very dehydrated. Continuing the trend today...

176.6 SW for round 20 challenge
172.6 CGW
4 pound goal for 10 days may be lofty, but I have a 15K race tomorrow and a half marathon next Saturday so lots of calorie burning this next week.
10/20 - 176.6
10/21 - 177.0 - well fire, that's no good! Ran a 15K trail run today so hopefully I'll see good stuff in the a.m.
10/22 - 176.0 - Now that's what I'm talkin about!
10/23 - 175.8 - super thrilled with that number. It's not much down but what a huge boost for my mindset. Yesterday was a complete rest day after my race on Saturday so I was LAZY!. Watched my intake and drank some water but certainly not enough. Now I'm off to the gym to lift and cardio.
10/24 - 175.4 - Moving on down. Drank lots of water yesterday and added the stair master into my workout. Can I just say, I feel like someone beat the fire out of me! Only way to get over that is get back to it today. 5 mile run, lifting for upper body and abs.....and yes more of the stairs.
10/25 - 174.4 - I like it. Hard work pays off. Got all my water in too.
10/26 - 173.2 - This drop is NOT due to any hard work on my part. Had terrible upper stomach pains and nausea yesterday so stuck with crackers, water, rest and no exercise. Better this morning and have to get out and run a couple of miles today for my final run before my half marathon Saturday. We will see what the scale brings tomorrow.
10/27 - 172.8 - Getting so close to my challenge goal weight. Today is a rest day before my big race in the morning. I do have several outdoor projects that will give me some exercise. Final mowing of the yard, moving cows to another pasture and wrapping outdoor faucets for coming freeze. I hope tomorrow is a good day.
10/28 - 172.6 - I'll take it. Any move down is a win!

I weigh first thing in the morning when I get up. My scale only has 1/2# increments, and I'm too cheap to buy a fancier scale. Comments reflect prior day.10/20/17: Oooh, I like this thread! I've been weighing myself daily since April, keeping track in MFP Food Notes, and logging my "official" weigh-ins on Saturdays. I've been amazed at how much my weight can fluctuate from day to day, depending on eating out or processed foods, adult beverages, net calories green or red, etc. Daily weigh-ins really help me see cause and effect with high sodium days, adult beverages, too much sugar, etc. I don't get freaked out as much by a jump on the scale now, since I know what I did to cause it, and what I can do to change it. My scale measures in 1/2 # increments, and I'm too cheap to buy a fancier scale.
10/20: 166.0
10/21: 166.5 After vacation day with hubby & eating out for lunch and supper, not so bad.
10/22: 167.0
10/23: 168.5 Ack! Sedentary day, pizza for supper & 3 days too little water.
10/24: 167.0 Drank 15c water and net calories (barely) green.
10/25: 166.0 Back to SW this round. Net calories green 35 & 12c water.
10/26: 166.0 A little surprised....happy hour after work with 1 pint beer, "healthier" pub food & popcorn for supper. Drank 14c water. Fitbit 14,674 steps, 250+ steps 13/14 hours & 40 floors.
10/27: 165.0 Fitbit 15,929 steps, 250+ steps 14/14 (boom) & 38 floors. 14c water. Been low on fiber lately.

I've never done this before, but I'm in! I'll be out of town Wednesday-Saturday though. My husband and I are going to Halloween Horror Nights at Universal! But I could definitely use this as motivation for making good decisions while I'm gone!
Current Weight: 216lbs
Goal Weight: 165lbs
Day/Weight/Comment
10/20 - 214.3lbs - a better start than I was expecting, to be honest! I ate mostly well and was under my daily count by 240calories, but I had some bread last night with the stew my dad made when he came to visit and was worried my body might not have loved that. I'm happy to be at 214lbs, since that was my pre-pregnancy weight! My son is 11 months old but it's been a journey to shed that weight!
10/21 - 214.6lbs - Okay, I'm not really surprised by this. With my dad visiting for a few dats, we tend to eat out more than usual. I had a grilled chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries and a few bites of fried mushrooms that the table got for an appetizer. That's okay though. I just have to try to be more consistent.
10/22 - 213.2lbs - I'm so thrilled to see this. My whole issue with health has been bad decision making. Before, I'd be motivated for a short periods of time and then I'd get bored and eat my emotions by getting a box of some cheese snack mix. But I'm really trying to focus in on my decision making and yesterday at lunch tested that. My dad wanted to go to a wings place where everything on the menu is high in calories. Even their salads were 1000+ calories. But I didn't just get whatever I wanted. I studied the menu and added calories to make a better choice. And it paid off.
10/23 -214.3lbs - Darn. I trird to make good decisions, but my dad wanted to go out to lunch again. I got a salad and sweet potato fries, but I tried a piece if his pizza. And for dinner, my son stayed up late so I wasn't able to sit down and eat until 10. I HATE eating that late. I should have just gone to bed instead of eating! Gotta keep working on consistent better choices. My dad is leaving today, so no eating out!
10/24 - 213.4lbs - yay! Yesterday, I was on top of my food and water intake. I take a 30oz bottle of water with me to work and go home on lunch and refill it so I make sure that I get 60oz during the work day. I didn't eat out. Everything I did at home and I had dinner at 6 rather than 10. Tomorrow we're leaving at 4pm to head to Orlando, so I'll have to really focus on making good choices. It's hard to eat that great when you're at a theme park! But I can at least say I'll get a tooon of steps Thursday and Friday. We went two years ago and I had 35,000 steps in one day. Much more than my usual 6k on a work day.
10/25 - 212.8lbs - ...Wow. I'll be totally honest with you guys (though a large part of me would rather not admit my bad choice), I did not expect a loss. I was under my calorie goals, but I did binge eat cheezits after dinner... I think my issue is that I was depriving myself a little too much. I need to work on creating more balanced meals so I don't get that urge to go stuff my face with something only briefly satisfying. I am thankful that I still lost weight, but that's not the way I want to do it. Today we leave for Orlando, so I don't think I'll have a scale to check in on until Saturday, but I will continue to check in with my calorie and decision making! Gotta hold myself accountable!
10/26 - No scale - I was fairly on top of everything yesterday. I drank 108oz of water. I did have a late night snack of popcorn after we got to our hotel room. But we're about to get up and head to the theme park so I'll get plenty of steps in!
10/27 - No scale - I didn't eat much, but what I did eat wasn't great. It's really hard to eat well at a theme park!! But I did keep hydrated and had 28k steps at the end of the day. And had a great time! So however it ends up, it was worth it to get some time away with my husband, getting scared at Halloween Horror Nights. Back to Universal today!
10/28 - 217.3lbs - ugh. Nearly 5lbs gained on our trip. Not what I was hoping to see. Not surprised though. But I already went grocery shopping and stocked up on much better food for the next week so I'm hoping to shed some of that as quickly as I can!!

Need more water today, stayed up too late last night. Good on calories, veggies, OK on protein. Got a little exercise. No added sugar. I'm on a whoosh, I think interval running is giving me a larger calorie deficit than I'm accounting for. We'll see if it keeps up.
10/21: 167.0
Spoke too soon! This bump doesn't bother me, I am still 2 lbs down for the last week. Today was good, I found an excuse to get outside and walk during my work day, then went for a short run this evening. Good on water, calories, etc. No sugar today. I even turned down pizza.
10/22: 167.5
Hm, still went up and I was practically perfect Friday and Saturday. Imma be way up tomorrow, I went out to dinner and had all the butter in the world, went over my calories for the first time in ages, like halfway into tomorrow's calories. No dessert or cocktail, at least. Didn't have sugar today but I found a roll of breath mints (with sorbitol) in my desk and ate several, I always munched stuff like that like candy so I stopped buying them.
10/23: 168.5 Yeah.
For what it's worth, today was mostly on track. Though if yesterday was "B" for butter, today might have been "C" for cheese. Under calories, though. No sugar.
10/24: 169.0
Honestly, I almost skipped this thread today because this is discouraging. But, I know I didn't eat 7,000 extra calories in the last few days, I have to just keep going. Ate very light today, lots of water. No added sugar.
10/25: 167.5
Okay, a bit better. I drank 4L/1gal of water yesterday to rid my body of evil spirits and it helped. Today I did terrible with water, forgot my bottle at home and didn't drink any fluids from 9a-6p. Fine on calories, no added sugar, got some exercise tonight after dinner.
10/26: 168.5
Good on calories, protein, water, exercise today.
10/27: 167.5
Event at work today, didn't eat or drink quite enough for the day. I ate some pizza though, not sure what the scale will look like tomorrow.
10/28: 166.0
Mostly due to yesterday's dehydration, I think. I didn't do well on water today either. With post-event cleanup today, I had two days of lots of moving around and carrying things, I didn't count steps but my feet tell me I walked a lot. Ate low again today, not deliberately but two days under 1200, too busy/too tired. Got a short interval run in this evening. Waiting to see if I end this round a tiny bit down, break even, or bump up above my starting weight. Anything could happen on the scale tomorrow.

10/20 133.5 - stayed on track yesterday. Gotta stay the course
10/21 132.5 - not what I expected... DD came home from college yesterday, so made a nice lasagna dinner with apple cake for dessert... and I ate over my calorie count. Probably won’t hold, but that’s why I’m doing this
10/22 132.5 - I’m finding this group activity motivating! Knowing I was going to report my weight today kept the late night munching away
10/23 134 - what the...? probably the yummy pho I ate for lunch had high sodium - I stayed close on my calorie goal and even did some running.
10/24 134 - hmmm
10/25 133 - finally! Sticking with the program is paying off!

Day/Weight/Comment
10/20- 150.48 It was a quiet day today. Came in under calories. Tomorrow I have another university visit with my son, so I will get some exercise.
10/21- Woke up early and forgot to weigh. Went to a university open day with my son. Did lots of walking. We ate dinner out, but I think I probably came in under calories.
10/22- no scale Realized this week is going to be difficult. We have another open day on Wednesday. Dinner was out again tonight. Should be under calories, but this is a total guess. Nervous to weigh tomorrow morning.
10/23- 150.7 Hurray! Hope I can continue to stay on track.
10/24- no scale Unsure if I made it within calories. Think I was probably over.
10/25- no scale Lots of walking today, but also had fast food. Tomorrow will be interesting when I'm able to weigh myself again.
10/26- 150.7 So thankful I am holding steady at this weight. Although I would love to drop some weight, I would be just as happy to maintain this round.
10/27- Totally forgot to weigh myself today. I need to get back into the habit.
10/28- 151.36 (weighed after breakfast) It's finally quiet around here.
10/29-149.82 Absolutely shocked when I got on the scale this morning.

10/21 - 187.8 DH brought KFC home for dinner. I think it's still sitting undigested in my tummy. Stayed within calories but I think I absorbed all the salt judging from the weight gain.
10/22 - 187.2
10/23 - 188.4 OMG I need to stay away from alcohol! Sigh....
10/24 - 188.4 I have a question - I've had one period in the last two years, but the last few months I feel like I'm bloated and that I'm going to have one. Has anyone had these 'ghost periods' after menopause?
10/25 - 187.2
10/26 - 185.6 New low!! Drinking water instead of alcohol, who'd have thought?.. Actually, I knew and I record all the alcohol I drink, even though I come in at a deficit it just seems to stop my weight loss in it's tracks. I have more demons to conquer than just my weight. Lesson learned.

10/20 - 65.8kg - Ate at maintenance yesterday and needed a heavier carb day but am happy to see the bump up was quite small. I still don't trust that I'm in the 65s! Girls night tonight so expecting to be up tomorrow!
10/21 - 66.6kg - as expected!
10/22 - 66.6kg - it's been a mental weekend. Working til 11pm both nights. Not a spare second to myself. Need to go grocery shopping and make some time for exercise tomorrow.
10/23 - 67.5kg - groceries done, lots of health food and no excuses. Glad to be back into a more normal routine. Not sure I'll make goal but would like to see my start weight for the round again.
10/24 - 66.4kg - Only half a kilo until I'm back at my start weight for this round. Low cals and lots of water to make up for the weekend. It would be nice to not be battling against my weekends constantly. I see a frustrating pattern here!
10/25 - 65.5kg - Dinner tonight with the in-laws so am doing some pre-damage control with a run and a light lunch. Intermittent fasting seems to be my friend just now, as does drinking lots of water. Have not exercised once this round so would like to get out there tonight, not for the scale but for my own health and happiness!
10/26 - 65.1kg - C'mon mini-goal!! Within cals, low carbs, lots of water. Finally got to the gym this morning. Going to make plans to get through the two parties I have this weekend without the bump back up in weight. Advice welcome, PM me!
10/27 - 64.9kg - YAY! Almost at my mini goal. Taking the radical step of not drinking at a party tonight to see if I can keep my calories within budget this weekend. I don't even know who I am anymore hahaha. In other news, it was a beautiful frosty morning and I got out for a run in the park. Lovely!
10/28 - 65.3kg - Totally expected. Two words: Caramel. Fondue.
10/29 - 64.9kg - I was not expecting that after beers and pizza last night!! I'll take it though. 100g off my mini goal ain't bad today's challenge - the hangry hangover monster!
See you next round!

19/10 - 194.6 - R 19 was better than round 18 but I am still chasing my lowest weight to date( 193.2 lbs) it would be nice to see that number appearing this round. I am still eating lower calories due to sciatica pain limiting my movement, but I am also managing to exercise more now that I was in the previous rounds.
20/10 - 194.8 - a great start, I was scared this was going to jump up to 197 again! .. oh for a round I don't see that number or above!
21/10 - 195.2 - still happy with this, had a drink last night so my cals were higher but still within budget, still drinking my water mon-Fri - I will be happy this round if I do not see 197 or above!! and ecstatic if I don't see 196 or above

10/23 - 153.6 - I have a severe allergy to ragweed and it's been kicking my butt the last two weeks. I allowed myself to rest when I wasn't feeling well, but this weekend I started feeling a bit better and upped my program. Lots of exercise, lots of water, under calories. Seems to be paying off for now.
10/24 - 154.2 - this allergy situation is out of control....I have never had this many problems. I'm just exhausted all the time...had the luxury of sleeping 10+ hours over the weekend, but back to work yesterday and back to struggling to drag my butt around. No exercise yesterday but stuck to my food plan + 1 protein bar but still under calories. I've just started a course of steroid treatment so don't know what that will do to the scale or how I feel but I'm ready to try anything.
10/25 - 153.6 - no exercise again yesterday, but stuck with food plan. Feel slightly better this morning so I'm going to try to get the elliptical in.
10/26 - 152.6 - Well isn't that nice! Stuck to food plan and got 45 min of elliptical in yesterday, but that's an awfully big loss for one day...we'll see if it sticks.
10/27 - 153.4 - I knew yesterday was a little too good to be true. But overall still trending downward and met goal for the 2nd round in a row. Let's see if I can maintain or go down for the next two days! Stuck to food plan and elliptical for 45 min.

10/20: 160.2 Happy for my 3rd day at 160.x! I am hoping that I can leave the 160's behind over the next 10 days!
10/21: 160.4 I was sooooo hungry last night even though I had a nice filling dinner. I had some extra calories and let myself have a few small snacks. Still woke up with a growling and very hungry stomach this morning! Very busy day today, 2 kid birthday parties today with pizza and cake. My plan is to skip pizza (probably chain pizza that really isn't that good) and consider cake once if it looks worth it.
10/22: 160.2 I'm posting later in the day but weight was done this morning like always. Very active day today! W4d1 of C25K, completely cleaning out chicken coop, and hauling lots wood. 21,000 steps and the day is not over yet. I will definitely have water retention tomorrow. My muscles are hurting big time! Plus I will be enjoying some beers during the Pats game tonight. Go Pats!!
10/23: 162.0 I knew I would be up today. Just hoping it goes back down fast!
10/24: 161.8 I expected to be down more today. Ate under calories, limited sodium, and drank a good amount of water. Continued focus today!
10/25: 160.8 slow and steady release of extra fluid. Hoping to finally get below 160 soon. Keeping a deficit daily so it has to at some point!
10/26: 159.4 Finally!! Now to stay here!
10/27: 159.0 Another day on target; W4D3 of C25K completed yesterday. Onward and downward!
10/28: 157.2 Well that's one big whoosh! I fully expect to see it rise again. I was so busy yesterday and didn't drink much water. This could be a bit of dehydration.
10/29: 158.0 Very happy with this for the last day. Planning an outside W5D1 of C25K this morning as my kids and husband just left for a few hours. Not a bad way to start a Sunday! This group has really helped me take weight loss in stride, knowing that the scale WILL move down eventually if you keep eating at a deficit no matter how long it stays stuck or goes up. 10/21 - I forgot to weight myself, oops!
10/22 - 177.7 - I was not expecting that! I haven’t been eating the healthiest, but I still stuck to my no dairy, no processed carbs rule and it seems to be working.
10/23 - 178.2 - I knew it was too good to be true. I was a little too flexible on my rules yesterday and I’m paying for it today. Hopefully extra water today will take care of it.
10/24 - 178 - Going in the right direction again
10/25 - 178.9
10/26 - 178
10/27 - 177.1
10/28 - 176.6 - I almost can’t believe this actually showed up on my scale today. Clearly dairy and processed carbs were my downfall. But they’re so gooooood!
10/29 - 176.6 - I’m surprised I stayed this low! We went out last night and I drank more heavy craft beers than I should have. I’m sure it will show up tomorrow, but I’ll take it for now!6 -
171.6 is my start weight this Round. I did weigh 202. I have stalled out. I'm not frustrated yet, but I'm sure the day will come when I am. I've reached a smaller, attainable goal that my doctor set of a 20 pound loss, but I decided to keep pushing myself until I reach my ideal weight. I've lost 31 lbs so far. I want to lose 80, but I don't have any particular goal this Round. It would be nice to see 169 point something though. I CAN AND WILL DO THIS!
10/20 no scale---(in KY for a 1-day trip...went to the Jack-o-lantern Spectacular in Louisville with my husband and our 3 children.) I went on a binge last night because I was told in order to get your body going again, BINGE. My weight will go up for 2 or 3 days, then boom. Let's see if it works!
10/21 No scale except the one in the hotel that's 30lbs lower than it should be. Sooo not counting it. Lol We are in Ohio now. We went to Jungle Jim's yesterday, and I did BINGE again.
10/22 173.2 and we are back home. I know its a big jump, but I honestly have no regrets. I've been on a strict regimen for about 5 months now. I deserved to treat myself when doing something I hadn't done in 20 or so years...ride roller coasters. We went to Kings Island yesterday, and I put in almost 17g steps. Now that I'm back home, it's back to the grind and shedding these lbs.
10/23 172.6 I'm hoping that this BINGE thing works because right now, seeing my numbers up this high when it took so long to get under 172 is SO NOT AWESOME!
10/24: 172...alright...the weight is coming back off now, but I want to see it get below that 171.6 mark. If I could get to 170 or lower, then I might believe this BINGE thing one day a week works. Lol
10/25 BOOM! My scale was teasing me this morning. I saw a 169.6, but it went up. It did this 2x. I'm so close, but right now, I'm at 170 lbs. I'll take it. This is my lowest weight yet. It took exactly 3 days, and then that weight came off to a big loss. I believe that this BINGE does work. So, I will try it out again this next round.
10/26 170.8 Maybe it was sodium or a late dinner...idk...
10/27 I'm back down to 170 today. The scale has dropped in the 160s again, and then it came up to 170 and stayed. It's such a teaser. [/quote]
10/28 As of this morning, 169.8 decided to show up. The true test is to see if it stays, but I'm happy to see it. I also purchased an exercise bike. The cold weather has kicked in, and I am definitely not going to be out biking in it. However, I can still exercise and stay warm. So, I did get my 30-minute bike ride in yesterday because of it.
10/29 Well, I'm ending this round at 170. That's a 1.6 lb loss these 10 days, and I am okay with that. I biked for 30 minutes yesterday, picked up my son his first ever go kart, and ate dinner really late since it was a 4 hour drive there to get it and back. Still...170 isn't a bad thing, and I did see a glimpse of 160 point something yesterday. So, that means next round...I'm gunning for that number to stick.6 -
176.6 SW for round 20 challenge
10/29 - 171.6 - Boom!!! I did it....busted my goal. I was trying for 4 and lost 5!!
