I couldn't even stay up to post in the drunk club thread. My scary movie wasn't that scary but I liked it.

    What were you watching?

Still doing boring things. Still sewing.. and watching some Ken Burns documentary on Netflix about the Roosevelt family. Excitement all around, yep.

Well today I went to bed at 5 am, got up at 2 pm, ate the same thing as yesterday, ran the same route, did laundry, cleaned, hand washed floors and am now organizing stuff. I hope to watch a movie if I have the attention span, probably not.
I will start drinking soon and maybe head over to the drunk thread at some point

Have you seen Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter? It's interesting because they made that movie but also the sets and costumes. It makes me believe I'm back in that time period. The rest of the movie is.... But it is a horror movie so it fits the Halloween theme.

So my plan today is to watch the first episode of Stranger Things Season 2 knowing that I don't have enough time to watch the whole series today. Sounds like a good idea right?

I just pulled up a seat to watch this freshly painted wall dry. Talk to you all later. My afternoon is now full.

I violated the rules of boring club by going to a friend's house for a gathering last night. They insist I watch "What We Do in the Shadows," which they say is hilarious. I feel like it's really important that I watch this film and therefore should procrastinate battling the suffocating and soul-crushing work monster that has infected my existence like a virus and is gaining strength by the minute.

That reminds me: I need to take some Emergen-C.

I have also been inspired by some fabulous meal prep photos in the not a selfie thread to boil some eggs and prepare some albacore salad (with greek yogurt) for the week. Perhaps I'll go to the grocery store, but I feel like I really don't need to and this would just be a thinly-veiled procrastination technique.

If you haven't noticed, this post is getting more and more boring as I go on.

Sorry -- I fell asleep for a second.

This has been your peppermint P Sunday morning borereport.

    UPDATE!

I just changed the battery in my smoke detector.

Good work! I'm so happy with this thread. It has, so far, been enticingly underwhelming and I hope it goes from mundanity to mundanity.

I myself am in bed and it has just passed 9pm. I am hoping I can sleep all the way to 5:15 tonight because this weekend has been a sleep sucking vampire. Does it know it is Halloween or something?

I just got into a t-shirt I haven't been able to wear since 2011. Went to take a pic of it, but my boobs are too big to see what it says anyway. So I'm putting back on my sweater. Figured someone wanted to know that.

Oh. And the shirt smells like soap.

I'll look for it. Sometimes I don't have the attention span to watch a movie and know what is going on (like in all the Star Wars movies!) but I get completely absorbed in the costume and set design.

thats a good idea. I think I'm just gonna wait until mine start beeping at me

That's the really exciting part, especially when four beagles freak out about the beeping.

My husband is rationing us to one episode per night. That qualifies as some sort of abuse, right? Nevermind that I'm falling asleep on the couch at 9pm. I COULD STAY AWAKE IF I WANTED TO!

Lol. I just saw this. So it isn't just mine? She loses her crap over the dishwasher beeping too. So weird

How did I not know you had a beagle?!?!

Edit: Two of mine are terrified of the big green outdoor trash cans. It’s so bizarre. Trash walks day walks are like walking through a minefield!
