Been doing BLE since July, lost 30 #, at half way point. No flour, sugar, snacks, and weighing my food. People don't get it. Not for faint of heart. But you can do it.

    Welcome to MFP.
Glad you have found something that works for you.

I took the easy less torturous route of eating all the food I love, just less of it.

Calorie counting to keep me in a deficit was all that was needed.
    I exercised for health.

    Cheers, h.

Good for you. I've listened to some of her book. As a recovering alcoholic with over 23 yrs and a food addict it's a great & the same concept of AA. Sustainable not sure but I relate to binge eating and when I eat flour & processed sugar I just can't stop just like I did with drugs/alcohol. Not everyone understands that process and we all need to do what works for us.
    Congratulations on the hard work!
