Sweat does not equal fat loss, itchy heat rash maybe
I have had two kids and as a result some loose skin. But.. it is pretty minor. Slow and steady weightloss, weight training, and lots of patience can help.4 -

Pretty sure you already get excessive protein from food - supplements are not necessary unless you struggle to get protein in your diet. sufficient protein along with following a progressive lifting program will help you to maintain muscle4 -

Eat meat. If you want to supplement, fine, but those products themselves don't maintain muscle, eating adequate protein, not having too large a deficit and doing resistance training as you lose weight will help you maintain muscle.6 -
If you need to drop some water weight, I guess it can help? It's just gonna come back though. I wear one on bad days but it's because I have a back issue from my belly having gotten so big and it pulls on my lower back. If I'm on my feet for too long without it or something similar, it is very uncomfortable. The waist trimmer belt is an affordable and comfortable way for me to get some support where I need it and a reminder to exercise good posture.6

never mind just gonna point out it's a post from 2017.4

I have to differ on the usefulness of these belts. I purchased one a while back, the type that pushes out small electrical currents. This causes the abdominal muscles to contract & release when the current stops. It’s not a substitute for the hard work on diet & exercise but a useful aid. I wear it for about 30mins each day and it’s helping. You have to set it to quite a high level to feel the current and the abdominal muscles contract. I think you are allowed a trial period before returning it. Do the research, ask the supplier the right questions.11

Garbage. Scam. Junk science. Call it what you will. Just don't buy it. 😛2 -
I honestly have to say, that for me it’s really helping. Don’t expect it to do all the hard work for you. You will still need to control your diet & exercise. It’s your decision.9

How would you know its working if you're watching your food intake? You could say that if you knew your maintenance calories exactly and then wore it. What mechanism do you think makes you lose fat in the belly area by wearing such a thing?2 -

This^^^
I can contract my biceps all day long. If there's no resistance, or at the very least sustained and intense contraction like iso, I'm wasting my time.
@aziz_n1 - your gains are coming from the deficit/weightloss. Less fat around the middle lets you see what's underneath1 -

you've got the loose skin because you crash dieted...
Not how loose skin happens.2
