Started week 4 - still going, surprising myself! On 13mins running over 30mins :)
One question - I nearly fell towards the end cos my legs were tired and my toe caught in a dip. Is this just a hazard of running or my technique?

This can happen while walking, right? If it happened once, it's just one of those things. If it happens more frequently, then look at technique or slow down.

4 Weeks ago. Hopefully getting the splints off today. Then I have months of rehab to bend my fingers again. :s

It happens less if you run upright (not leaning forward) with short strides. When I get tired I tend to lean forward and have definitely caught a toe on the ground.

For me, it usually happens when I'm tired and I get a bit lazy about lifting my feet. If you find yourself tripping or stumbling a lot, pay attention to your form. So some drill work on high knees, skipping, etc.

It's a sign of a true runner the first time you bloody your knees and keep going...=)

Sounds like you just fell over, it's no big deal.

I have a lovely scar over my right eye from a gash the frame of my glasses left when I face planted.

Then there's the two toes I've broken.

I'm pretty much a klutz, though.

Rather than repeat I'm a big fan of just slowing down.
