Just started Body By You and maxed out Bending!

I've been putting off starting strength training for way too long, I think it was intimidating or something. I was afraid to find out I'm not strong and have a long way to go, or wouldn't be able to do it, or I don't know what else was holding me back.
I finally started Body By You, and got to levels 3 or 5 in Pulling, Squatting, and Pushing, which is better than I expected (yay!). But then for Bending I kept going up levels, and did two full reps of 12 at level 25 (One-legged Warriors) with a 3 pound weight and good form! I put a pillow on the edge of the bed and had to touch it with my foot to make sure it went high enough. Looks like yoga has helped - that move is a warrior 3 (airplane) with a weight.
The author's comment after this exercise is "If you're doing this movement with an object overhead, you have the posterior development of a goddess, the stability of an oak, and the ability to tackle nearly anything in this world."
I'm so excited that 1) I finally got started with strength training and 2) I blew the curve on Bending!

It's a book/strength training program by Mark Lauren where you use your own body weight for resistance.2
