    Successes / struggles this week: Motivation, motivation, motivation.... I need to find it.

    I struggle with motivation big time! It took me forever to finally get over my funk and decide I gotta get my crap together. Give it a good 2-3 weeks of your 100%. That will be all the motivation you need. Once you start feeling and seeing a difference in yourself and your body you will get the motivation you need to keep going. Just think about how awesome you will feel by Christmas... I love the holidays. But hate them when I have very low self esteem. It takes a lot of my happiness away. I want to be happy!!!

    Successes / struggles this week: had two birthday parties and Halloween this week. I did ok for Halloween - candy wasn’t a temptation - but the birthday parties were trickier. I wasn’t tempted to eat the junk but rather felt OBLIGATED to eat it. Like they went to a lot of trouble to get a cake and make snacks and food and I felt rude to not have any. So I went over calories one day but wis still within deficit calories for the day and for the week. But this feeling of obligation to not be rude to my hosts has me a bit concerned as I head into the holiday season.

    Halloween was a bit of a struggle. I sort of compromised by letting myself go over on calories on the 31st, but still keeping track and staying under on the other days. So my weekly average was on target. On the total success side, I can officially run for a full hour! Next goal is to get to 10km.
