I need a sweet bread recipe that uses fruit butter

So I am into canning, and I recently made some homemade peach butter. I want to make a sweet bread of some sort, but of course it needs to be on the lowfat side. Also, I don't eat eggs, so it can't have eggs in it.

Does anyone have a recipe like this?

I've never used fruit butter. I've only dealt with nut butter. I'm curious.

Pineapple fruit butter. Though, if it was a compote of sorts, I'd seriously get that checked. There may be some sort of defect.

What if the butter comes from the "eggs"

Interesting. Have you tried using pineapple fruit butter to sweeten your nut butter before? Instead of adding sugars it's more natural. I don't know if it's good, but maybe someone can enlighten me so I may try?

I've never personally tasted my own product, but from those who have tried it, seem to leave with a satisfied smile. And a cigarette.

ok so how did it go from fuity to nutty, to now salty if im ready correctly?? im with j. i personally prefer nuttier then fruitier. fruitier can leave a kind of... bitter crap tasting taste in ur mouth if using it on ur nut. nut butter is much better. more natural in taste.

Yeah Ive never tasted my own either because it's just not as appealing. But, usually when I hand it out, I'm the one who's smiling.

It's a selfless act that way. I hand out loads by the fist fulls.

You can't be too shaky at times like that. When you're measuring out the butter you wanna be precise for correct nutritional logging.

You gotta look at where you're putting the butter. You can't just be pouring it out all willy nilly, as if you're looking up and biting your cheeks.

Well if you keep them open you might aim into the tupperware better.
  • Well, although somewhat entertaining in a juvenile fashion, this thread has not helped me find a recipe.

I was holding the Tupperware very still but you still got me in the face. Hmmmmmmmmm yes it definitely needs some kind of fruit. Maybe the posters Peach Butter combined with your Nut Butter would make a great combination. I'll observe the process and comment on your outcome.

So sorry but don't let it go to waste, that's the freshest you're going to get it
