Well whatever you want to call it if you want to lose weight it is all about the calories. You can eat low carb or whatever you define clean as but if you're not in a calorie deficit you won't lose weight. WW is just another more restrictive complicated way of being in a calorie deficit (if you follow it as intended).

I'd like an approach that would make losing weight and increasing health EASIEST for me. For me that's limiting heavily refined highly palatable foods. What will work for you?

MFP - that's why I'm here. Been successfully maintaining using MFP for several years now.

None of the above. I am currently doing the 17 Day grapefruit fat flush plan. As to why, well that's between me and Dr. Oz.

    Grapefruits suck. CICO for me.

The fact Im here reading your post suggests I chose calorie counting/MFP lol

Iv tried all sorts of "diets" over the last 10 years and counting/tracking on MFP is the only thing thats worked

Calorie counting is the only real way that works. Diets are all pointless.

Weight Watchers old point system was once very reliable because a point represented a caloric ratio, but now a point is a YMMV good/ bad judgement system. And that system keeps changing (coming soon!). Calorie counting works as long as you don't fudge it.

Counting calories for me. I am trying to increase my protein intake so that naturally lowers my carbs but not specifically avoiding them. As long as I get around 100g of protein, the carbs and fats can fall wherever they will for the day (although the split usually ends up pretty even between all three)

She'll be back. This is about her 10th profile, asking the same questions.

MFP , moderate carb, eating food I like
The tools here are easy to use. I liked the community.
Calorie counting helps me manage my weight while eating like a normal person.

All weight loss is caused by having a calorie deficit. The rest is preference.
Pick a way of eating you can sustain that is the appropriate amount of calories.
