I wanted to make sure everyone saw this post from Beeks....
This weekend I had a great moment! I tried on a pair of old jeans that I hadn't worn in a very, very, very long time!! And they fit!!! They don't fit as good as I want them to .. but boy did it feel good to put on that old pair and know that my workouts are really paying off!! So here's to another great week .. and by spring those old jeans are going to become my regular jeans!! So good bye to Fat Jeans!!! Yay!!

I had a moment similar to this on Sunday. I put my regular jeans on and said something about slipping into somethin comfy. It's good to know that my regular jeans are comfy....not my fat jeans! I try to only do measurements once a month and the next time I will is on Sunday but I have been dying to do it for the last week because I KNOW I have lost inches! I've hidden the measuring tape until Sunday but I promise to report my success!
Speaking of success, has everyone seen Dragonfly's ticker....80 lbs!!!! That is so awesome!! And inspiring. We can all succed we just have to put in the time and effort!

*deep breaths* My computer is back! YAY! I've been doing really well getting my workouts in while it was MIA, but my food tracking hasn't been all that great.
I have a questions for all of you. I'm looking for a new TJ workout & was wondering what everyone recommends. These are what I have

Well 3babybeans .. I would also recommend Cardio Party 2&3 .. I haven't done CP3 yet, but I have heard nothing but good reviews for it as well!0

Drevansmom, thanks for reposting for Beeks so we didn't miss it. WTG Beeks :flowerforyou: I know for me, fitting into my 'too tight' jeans felt even better than seeing the scale go down!
And yes, Dragonfly is such an inspiration...all of you are! I love seeing those tickers move from week to week!

I'm still debating what to do this morning, I think I'm going to follow Dragonfly's lead and try CP3, I'll let you know how it goes.

Punch Kick & Jam (now known as PB&J around here ) is probably my favorite...I burn tons of calories. Fat blaster is my other fav (so you have the two I do regularly), I usually try to follow it with some toning...3T is great for that as well as Booty Scuplt and Abs. I like that one because it uses some heavier weights and I really need to work on my muscle tone right now. I just ordered Kickin' Core from amazon, looking forward to trying that!0 -
Congrats Beeks & Dragonfly! That is so exciting. I love fitting into old clothes. It's like new clothes all over again.
I was going to skip working out tonight but I you guys have encouraged me to NOT take a night off. This place is great! Quick Question: Booty sculpt DVD - Does that really help sculpt your tush? I've got no workouts that help that area.

Sara-I love CP2 and CP3 (even with the audio/video glitch, I actually did this one with the "pumped up music" option yesterday and didn't notice the glitch that way). 3T is great for toning and Booty&Abs is great for legging and abs. I'm pretty happy with what I have right now. I've got a good rotation (CP1, CP2, CP3, PK&J, FB and then I try to work the toning stuff in). It's nice to have so many different cardio options.
Msplatts-I don't know if the Booty sculpt works yet cuz I haven't been doing it long enough, but my hubby has noticed a difference in my rear since I started working out. I have a VERY VERY VERY flat butt (thanks mom) and hubby is noticing a little bump forming. When I do the Booty sculpt I feel it burn in my thighs, but maybe that's just my weak spot?? Regardless I love the workout. Chaleen has you shakin and dancin thru the whole workout.

I'm going to have to move my workout to this afternoon due to sleeping in this morning and starting my new "job" (babysitting one of my son's classmates before and after school for the next 3 months).

I am so motivated to see everyone getting their workout in and planning for later. I really needed to read that today. I feel a little off b/c I missed CP3 this morning:grumble: and chose to play with the snooze button instead. Rainy Mondays are so tough for me to dgrag my carcass out of the bed. DH and I were goofing around last nite and didn't get to sleep til after 1am - 4o'clock just came entirely too quickly for my taste. So thanks all of you for the push - it helped:flowerforyou:
Missed Jammin this morning but at least managed 20 minutes of pilates at lunch and have either CP3 or Fat Blaster on the books for later - depending on how much energy I have and how hungry I am, lol!!!
Beeks - Outstanding, good for your accomplishment on the jeans - :drinker:
Msplatts- I just tried her Lower Body Jam and I really like how it make my glutes and thighs burn. Lots of squatts w/ a resistance band and weights.
Drevansmom- Are we related??/ I have the same rear!! Well, it used to be really flat and really, really wide:laugh: - now it's rounding out and lifting up (yea!!) and not nearly as wide( double yea) - still got a ways to go yet!!

Alright. I got in TS & AJ. Contemplating what cardio to do for the day...decisions, decisions.
Thanks for your input, ladies! I'm really leaning towards the 3T. I don't know. We'll see. I'm waiting until I hit my goal weight to buy anything else. OR, if I completely stall out in the next 7#, I'll be desperatly buying every TJ dvd I can get my hands on in an effor tto get there! LOL0 -
Can you believe it's 1 in the afternoon and I haven't worked out AND I'm still in my jammies????? It's just been on of those days. But I am going to do it right now. CP1 for today. I got a yoga dvd from the library, I'm gonna try it out as well. I've never done yoga in my life so it should be interesting.
Sara-7#s from your goal??? You are amazing! I have about double that...but I've decided it may not be enough....but I'm not changing it for now....we will see how I look at feel when I hit my goal.
Dragonfly-happy to see you. I understand not wanting to get up this morning....I didn't get up until after 8 hahahaa. I don't know how you do those early mornings AND get your workouts in!
Kelly I feel like I need a nap but that's just cuz I'm being lazy. I know I'll feel better after I get my workout in. I'm sure you will feel better after your nap and you will have the energy to get your workout in tonight!

Just about 7, Lyn! I think it might change when I get there, too, but we'll see. I might try to knock off an additional 5, but I haven't seen that since I graduated high school. I'm about 2# from my original goal, so that's an exciting thing for me, too! YAY! You are doing great! You'll see it in no time!

I LOVE Turbo Jam. I've probably tried every DVD out there over the years and this is the only program I've ever stuck with. It's a great combination of cardio and toning and I think Chalene Johnson is awesome. She has such a great personality and makes the workouts alot of fun! And it still amazes me how many calories I burn in a 50 minute workout!0 -
Help! Can any of you tell me how to enter my exercise in? I do ChaLEAN Extreme workouts currently and would like to enter it into MFP. Since you guys do Turbo Jam ... (which I used to do and love). How do you enter in your workouts. Please let me know if you have time. Thank you.0

Well I got in CP and 3T but didn't have time for yoga, so I will try it tonight after kids go to bed.
Chase--I love these workouts. I've lost 35 lbs in 5 months. They are fun, and energizing, and you work your entire body.
2BLean-I have a HRM so I add my workouts and use the cals burned from my HRM. I don't know anything about ChaLEAN Extreme so I wouldn't know. There used to be a ChaLEAN thread, maybe if you put ChaLEAN in the search bar you can find a group with more experience with those workouts. Feel free to post with us your experience and success and LOVE of Turbo Jam!!!0 -
OK, just did my workout for the day...CP and Ab Jam. For the record I didn't like working out this late (compared to my normal mid-day...aka nap time). The darn nap I took didn't do a thing for me anyways

Morning gang!!
Well what a past couple of days I have had! Sunday I went out with the girls, didnt binge on food but downed around 3 bottles of wine and was literally "dying" all days yesterday. Food wise I wasnt so bad yesterday but I havend done a workout since Saturday and I am really feeling it now!
I really doubt the scales will go down for me this week becuase of those two days but I plan on doing the PK&J workout in a while, and for the first time I will add in those handweights I got with it to boost it up for me!0 -

Hope all are well today and staying on track! I did CP1 before bed last night and CP2 this morning before work!! Used my gloves so it was even more intense. Man, do I love this work out!! I hadn't done CP1 in a week( been doing CP2 & 3 + others) so when I did it last nite it really got me going. Slept like a dog, lol!!
Shooting for Ab Jam when I get home and a quiet evening!!

I did CP2 and the 20 minute today. My triceps are still burning from doing 3T and the pushup challenge yesterday.

I wear my gloves with FB every time, but that's up to you if you want to learn it with the gloves on. Don't be intimidated! The good thing about FB is that you do each turbo twice, once low impact & once high impact so you have a chance to learn it. You can do it!
Deedun - your pic cracks me up simply b/c there is a headless person in it. LOL I do like your hair color, though! I've always wanted something that wasn't mousy brown.
Lyn - How's the new "job" going so far?
Dragonfly - isn't it funny how when we take some time off from a certain workout, it kicks our butt the next time we do it?! I haven't done PK&J in a week & I am FEELING IT NOW! Yowzers! Have fun with AbJam!
I did FB this am & just got done PK&J'ing. I've had a blasted headache all day long & was hoping that jumping around my living room like a fool would help. It hasn't so far. :grumble: I'll probably be doing 20 min. with dh tonight, too. It's "last chance workout" for the BL challenge so I'm getting in as many as I can! My stupid scale is screwing with my head today so I'm determined to make it mind its manners by tomorrow morning. Ugh.

Absolutely Deedun - you can do it! The gloves really up the intensity level and you'll burn more calories. Just make sure you don't secure them too tightly and if you feel uncomfortable slow down and take them off.
I wasn't crazy about FB at first because it is a bit different than TJ but I really like it now. It's nice to have a 30 minute option and know you are getting a good calorie burn. I log it as high intensity aerobics.
