Reaching goal weight in June 2018

Since I've broken halfway on my goal getter I thought it's about time I found out what the inside of a Gym looked like, first time in a long time anyway. Nothing serious as such, 10k on the ex-bike and another 1k on the rower. I suppose it's somewhere to build from.
While in the Gym I was having a thought, I realised I do better with mini goals, although I know my end game I have realised I set mini goals, changing the units of my goals to make them achievable. My overall weight loss goal being 59lb I have been alternating between stones and pounds, pounds only and kg. It may be closest half stone, to the nearest 5lb or 10lb or 5kg.
It helps me anyway, night help someone else.2 -
I'll join. This deadline gives me time to lose the weight in a reasonable timeframe, without extreme dieting, and allows me to focus on a slower loss through healthy lifestyle changes. I'm trying to be smart about it, realising that the weight loss is quicker in the beginning (4-5 lbs/month) and eventually slows (1-2 lbs/month), so this timeframe might make achieving my final goal possible. Like one poster said, when you break it down into small monthly amounts the ultimate goal doesn't seem unachievable. October didn't work out quite as I'd expected, but I haven't quit, and November seems more promising

I lost 70 pounds in 2015-16, then gained back 12 on a metabolism reset. I've lost 7 of those and am working toward the rest plus a few. It's slow going, on purpose.
Acceptable goal - 140 (-9)
Better goal - 135 (-14)
Ideal goal - 130 (-19)

OK. I'm in. I've never joined a challenge...because I'm always failing and I hate to look bad. Or do it in front of others....too much of a control freak. My first day was pretty bad. I already know I am a sugar addict. Addiction runs in my family...I'm fortunate mine is only sugar; however it has still controlled my life for 50 years. I don't drink or smoke, I wear my seat belt, get mammograms, all the right health screenings, watched all the "don't eat fried foods" stuff all my life....but I can't get a handle on the sugar. I feel like such a failure and I have always succeeded at most everything I have attempted (except exercise, which I abhor). I'm sure you all have intimate knowledge of every diet app on the internet as do I. My husband has never given me any crap about my weight but he knows it bothers me.
I would just like to get off the carousel. I am really tired of the ride.0 -

I'm in.
My overall goal is to see definition in my midsection. Not really a goal weight. I am thinking that this will occur around 190 lbs. or so. I am working out 6 days a week (3 days heavy lifting, 3 days cardio) and tracking my calories on here. I am currently down 15 lbs. since October 16.
