I've been pretty on target and successful with CICO so I felt okay about it. About 20 minutes ago I started feeling crappy and sluggish......what a learning moment! To top it off it was 77 cal flushed down the toilet!
20 minutes from one chocolate? That extreme of a reaction? Not buying it. It's either a guilt reaction or you've cut unhealthy amounts.
Nope 20 minutes but I've gotten away from eating junk for a month now. That sluggish reaction just told me it's not good to partake cause I have felt unusually energetic!10 -

One small piece of chocolate should not make you feel crappy and sluggish. Maybe you are just coming down with something. Did you enjoy eating it? Then I'm not sure how that's 77 cals flushed down the toilet.
Nope it was not worth it for the reaction of "yuck" afterwards. I am not a huge chocolate fan anyways....But.....set fruity, gummy as well as sour candys in front of me and I'm a gonner!
I have just felt so good not eating high sugar items.0 -

I'm a massive sucker for fruity, gummy candy too. And it always makes me feel like crap, because I always overeat on it, but I just keep going back.0 -

Hmm, well, if you don't give up any foods, then you never have to experience that feeling of "yuck" afterwards if you decide to have them again.12 -
Oh Lindor chocolates = endorphins, sertonin, dompamine & happy dancing. I can not imagine one making me feel bad. Having said that, I look the other way when I pass them in the supermarket.4

Eat it, enjoy it, fit it into your calories.
Not a problem.0 -
I have a friend who is a manager at a Lindt store nearby. Luckily I don't have a mind to exploit the relationship.1

A woman at my work bought large mugs and filled them with these balls for everyone in the office...I came in one day and it was just sitting on my desk....I thought ok, if I have one ball per day they should last til Christmas - a nice little treat....yeah no, they were gone in 4 days. freaking out like you are over one ball/77 calories is ridiculous!5

if you cant do it for yourself... do it for your friends!!!! :laugh:2 -
I LOVE those things...but I agree that one piece should not make you feel that terrible. In the past I tried to completely eliminate all "bad" food and having come back from going down that rabbit hole I can tell you it is likely an exercise in futility. I still believe that it is best to eat mostly whole and nutritious food but cutting out everything else forever will just drive you nuts. Just my 2 cents after years of overanalyzing my food.
A couple years ago one of our vendors brought in a HUGE glass container of those truffles to my office for Xmas, must have been hundreds all different flavors. I must have seriously eaten 40 of them before the day was over...it is near impossible for me to moderate them. I am not even a huge chocoholic but I just love the texture of the Lindt truffles! Since I have relaxed my "rules" about eating I find it easier to moderate things like this but it is still a struggle. When I ate the 40 in a day I was being super strict with myself and would binge because I got tired of it and gave up, so putting hundreds of truffles in front of me was a ticking time bomb waiting to go off.5 -

Oh that is just evil! LOL!0 -
I love those! I bought some earlier this week since they were on sale with the Christmas candies at the store. I treated myself to two pieces last night since they fit into my calories. I thought it was a tasty 150 calories1
