77 calories made you feel bad? lol that's just silly9

Stracciatella.... those things need to be uninvented. I seriously don't want to regain my lost 35kgs.2

Eat it, enjoy it, fit it into your calories.
Not a problem.0 -
I have a friend who is a manager at a Lindt store nearby. Luckily I don't have a mind to exploit the relationship.1

A woman at my work bought large mugs and filled them with these balls for everyone in the office...I came in one day and it was just sitting on my desk....I thought ok, if I have one ball per day they should last til Christmas - a nice little treat....yeah no, they were gone in 4 days. freaking out like you are over one ball/77 calories is ridiculous!5

if you cant do it for yourself... do it for your friends!!!! :laugh:2 -
I LOVE those things...but I agree that one piece should not make you feel that terrible. In the past I tried to completely eliminate all "bad" food and having come back from going down that rabbit hole I can tell you it is likely an exercise in futility. I still believe that it is best to eat mostly whole and nutritious food but cutting out everything else forever will just drive you nuts. Just my 2 cents after years of overanalyzing my food.
A couple years ago one of our vendors brought in a HUGE glass container of those truffles to my office for Xmas, must have been hundreds all different flavors. I must have seriously eaten 40 of them before the day was over...it is near impossible for me to moderate them. I am not even a huge chocoholic but I just love the texture of the Lindt truffles! Since I have relaxed my "rules" about eating I find it easier to moderate things like this but it is still a struggle. When I ate the 40 in a day I was being super strict with myself and would binge because I got tired of it and gave up, so putting hundreds of truffles in front of me was a ticking time bomb waiting to go off.5 -

I love those! I bought some earlier this week since they were on sale with the Christmas candies at the store. I treated myself to two pieces last night since they fit into my calories. I thought it was a tasty 150 calories1

Lindor dark chocolate truffles are one of my favorite things. They could almost make my list of diet kryptonite foods, but when I have them (not that often), I get a couple of singles next to the register. Good thing I am a cheapskate.0

You're freaking out about 77 calories? I could eat a whole bag of the sea salt or mint ones in one sitting.4

The peanut butter ones...OMG...they're amazing, but thankfully hard to find.0

Gah, yes! They are so good! I try to take little tiny bites and let them melt away so I don't just unwrap them all and shove my face into the pile of em.1 -

Do you have a mind to let someone else exploit the relationship?
(Call me!!)4 -

I think the OP thinks that one little piece of chocolate made her sluggish. I call shenanigans on that and think, if she really did feel sluggish, it's something other than a teeny tiny 77 calorie ball of chocolate.3 -

Will your mom adopt me?3 -
Ha - well, I think freaking out about 77 calories and saying it made you "sluggish" is a bit extreme, BUT I will admit that I had a similar reaction to finding out the calories in these. Basically, someone was passing them out at work and I was in the mood for a sweet treat so I ate two, assuming they were 30-40 calories each, and then finding out they were closer to 80 was pretty disheartening.
Idk why I assumed they'd be like a hershey kiss! Sometimes you just can't have nice things..1 -
I’m just happy that I discovered they have gluten in them (barley malt sweetened). Phew!0

My low carb butt loves these. My husband recently bought me an edible arrangement full of these and the ghirardelli caramel squares. It lasted two days lol1

We have a lindt advent calendar... just a little bit of chocolate a day does me good!3

I just crushed a poor soul yesterday that was eating one of their candy bars - "It's only 240 calories" Uh-huh, "Check the servings per container". It was 3...3

I have zero restraint with candy and chocolate. I just get the family to stash it away so I don't have to resist it everytime I walk into the kitchen.0

I love the Lindt chili bars but often end up buying one, eating a serving, then leaving it in the lunch room at work for the vultures to devour, because I would have zero trouble mowing through the whole bar, and I'm shrimpy enough that my daily goal can't often afford like 500 calories worth of chocolate if I wish to also get some actual nutrition. So good though.1 -
you don't have to give up chocolate you just have to get dark chocolate 100% coca and if you don't like it like that melt it and add some stevia with stuff like peppermint oil, cinnamon, ect. the vast majority of the chocolates in the stores either have a lot of sugar or sugar like substitutes that might give you a big spike of your insulin and your blood sugar. If you have to problem test drinking a tsp of apple cider vinegar and see what happens. store bought chocolate isn't as good as home made in my personal thought.4 -

Don't get too excited, it's a hollow plastic ball filled with normal sized ones.2 -
