Under my calories all but one day (about 200 over that day) and worked out 6 days this last week. I think too much sodium last couple of days = water retention. Just keep grinding.1 -

OK. I am just figuring this thread thing out. My biggest breakthrough is I actually told my husband about all my sugar issues...hiding food from him, sneaking it at night, the horrible urge to eat every cookie in a box. Knowing I am addicted to sugar and having no one to support me has really hard. He is diabetic and I am all over him about testing his sugar but I can't take care of myself. He was so kind and asked me why I had stopped trying and everything just started spilling out. He has never had an issue with my weight. Never. He only said, "you want me to take care of myself and now I want you to take care of myself." Talk about boo hooing. So, now I have a real buddy support system. He almost died this Memorial Wknd from diabetic ketoacidosis and he has had a hard time regulating his sugar ever since but that's another issue...he is getting there. So we are doing this together...for each of us.
We had a good day together scrolling through my MFP phone app comparing cal/carb/protein grams for a good meal....we were on the road...looking for a healthy meal at nearby restaurants. I like that property on the app....nearby restaurants with the menus on them. That is a HUGE bonus. Thanks, MFP.
I also splurged and got myself a FitBit bracelet ....found a good one for sale on EBay.

This question comes up a lot - How do you add friends on MFP?
To add friends - Click on the user's name in the left sidebar. That will open a window with the user's photo. Click on the name again. Another window will open. You will see a button that says "Add as Friend". Click on that button and your request will be sent. You can also send a message with the request.
This works on a computer. I have not tried adding friends on the phone app.0 -

Success, I saw 239.8 the last 2 mornings, but then I had pizza Saturday night and leftovers Sunday.
I actually expected to be back up a little higher today so I'm pretty happy with the 240.
I'm back to weighing and measuring my food today, since I didn't do that much on the weekend since it's hard to accurately measure takeout pizza. I found the closest I could on mfp and entered it but have no idea how accurate it was.

Jumping in! Have always wanted to join one of these threads for the awesome support and accountability. So impressed with everyone's commitment to updating. Sooo many amazing numbers. Giving myself a year to lose 40 lbs, with the bulk (25lbs) in first 6 mos, for the June deadline. Final goal (last 15) is negotiable, because I'm planning on weight training this time around, so I might end up getting much smaller at a heavier mass. Smallest I've been was 127 about 7 yrs ago, but was very much skinny fat.
Stealing the format from someone up thread because this is exactly how I'd do it. Fan of the mini goals, because it's better to work in manageable chunks. So here goes:

I'd love to join. Have been off MFP for a couple months and trying my best to get going again and get motivated. I've lost ability to workout the way I use to because of fibro and leg swelling along with knee pain, oh and the back. Yep way too much. Anyhow I would love to start again and start here.

Wow, 7 weeks in and I'm feeling pretty good with how I'm doing. I was thinking about how much I've lost since my highest and can't believe it's been over 70lbs. My highest was right before i delivered my daughter though, so the first 15-20 came off within about a week of having her. I then worked my way down and got down to 250 then got pregnant with my second. When I had him April 2017 I was 295, so even going by my high weight this year, I've lost almost 60lbs!
Such an amazing feeling seeing the numbers written out when you are losing weight. It's never easy, but it's soo worth it!
