Fitness Tracker Recommendations

I need to increase my activity level so I thought I would get a Fitbit (or something like it) to track my steps/activity and try to start building/increasing it. Currently the only 'exercise' I do is water aerobics so I was wanting something that worked in the pool.

I am not big into technology. I cannot get one that works with my phone (it's a Tracfone). I do have a mini iPad.

I hate that there are 20 different Fitbits you can get. And then, you also have the other brands.

So, I am looking for:
Easy to Use
Can be used in the pool
Doesn't have to connect to a phone (ipad is okay)
Easy to read
Large wrist
Under $150 - preferably around $100 .... or cheaper!

Any recommendations?

In your price range you can probably pick up a certified refurbished Garmin Forerunner 220/230/620

Thanks. I'm going to give the Garmin Vivoactive a try...$99.

I have always tracked my aqua fit in the MFP water aerobics category under ' cardio' and found it quite accurate over 7 years.
If the only reason you are thinking of getting a fitness tracker is to track your workout in water, try logging the MFP cals first, it may save you some money.

    Cheers, h.

My goal is to really see what my normal activity level is...which isn't much except for water aerobics...and try to slowly increase it.

I use the vivofit 3. I like that I can wear it swimming and only have to replace the battery once a year. My friend has a fit bit and she forgets to charge it frequently.
