unless you have over 100lbs ot lose, 15lb per month is not happening... not in any healthy sort of way anyway.

30 pound in 2 months? I agree with travistocktoad, it’s not a healthy goal in any way. What are your current stats? Why Keto diet, I am great suporter of cleaner eating, portion control and calorie count. Much healthier and less aversive way to slim down.

Good for you, I have been doing Keto for some time now. For those that respond to it not being health have not done the research and don't understand. As far as losing that much weight you may get that in the first month as you shed a lot of water weight, but it usually slows down to about 1 to 2lbs per week. So don't set yourself up for disappointment later on. Also, take measurements and don't judge progress on the scale.

no one on here has commented on the Keto aspect of the diet....? simply that trying to lose 30lbs in 2 months is not healthy

    Agree with these 2.

What's your plan once you lose the weight? That's the real test of whether your plan is wise or foolish regardless of whether it works in the short run.

I have went from 184 in October 17th to 154 today. I stuck to strict keto. Suoer simple. No crazy remakes of carby meals just the basics of keto. I kept my calorie count at 1400 or higher so I definitely was never starving myself. My doctor is SUPER pleased with my health and my weight. I plan on sticking to this for the most part even when in maintenance. I may up my carbs a little.. maybe to 50. But right now I don't even hit 10 carbs a day so who knows. I feel like this diet is doable long term. I have still managed to go to dinners and lunches and what not with family and friends and still stuck to this way of eating. It really is a great way to eat!
