I've decided that I am going to eat at maintenance/refeed for 2/7 days a week, which is why I am going to start using my average weight. I want to offset hormonal changes that occur when losing weight for extended periods of time that can make it harder to lose and maintain weight and I'm hoping to alleviate potential emotional stress of constantly being in a deficit.
Day/Weight/Comment
12/09 - 222.0 Eating at maintenance today. Going out for afternoon tea!
12/10--221.5 Finished W5D3 yesterday and other than having to stop to pick up my dog's business, I ran the whole 20 minutes. I'm very surprised of the drop in weight today since I ate at maintenance yesterday and I was definitely expecting a temporary weight gain. Eating at maintenance today. Off to kettlebell class.
12/11--223.1 There's the water weight from eating at maintenance yesterday.
12/12--222.2 Going to kettebell class today.
12/13--222.2 Had a great kettlebell class yesterday. Doing W6D1 today. I have to make sure that I keep hydrated today.

@SheilaBoneham Since I started doing Keto I have been doing a lot of reading on eating in this country. I recommend THE OBESITY CODE by Jason Fung, MD. He sites multiple studies, both small and large, and statistics that show the accepted food pyramid has been disastrous to our weight issues.
@cjsacto I felt the same way around that same weight and then again about 10 pounds lighter. /\/\/\/\/\/ eventually it stopped and the downs continued. You’ve got this!
@Leroyoliver There is something about those numbers! 161-163 and 151-153 were both sticking points for me. Or at least it seemed they were! Bouncy bouncy!
@cschmitz110515 How are you feeling after your fall?
@KayHBE I dislike the fact that we aren’t allowed to express a negative with the things at the bottom of the posts. My “AWESOME” is more of an “OH NO!” Being sick is not a fun way to lose weight!4 -

12/09 147 I have a full day ahead and do not feel well! Stupid cold or allergies??
12/10 147.5 Crazy busy yesterday! Community breakfast bingo, three basketball games, Christmas lights at the museum, dinner at a casino buffet before free music in the lounge. Did not drink enough water!! And I’ve pretty much lost my voice.
12/11 147 Did nothing yesterday. Trying to recover from Saturday.
12/12 146 I am feeling better but this is a crazy week. Grand-girls have basketball 2 hours away today. Must remember to drink, drink, drink!
12/13 146.5 After checking for restaurants online before we left for basketball yesterday I felt confident I would be able to eat on plan. LOL Lesson learned, the internet lies! I should have made some tuna salad and hard boiled eggs to put in the cooler! I did drink 3 quarts of water or more.7 -

Hello!!! Looking forward to another 10 days with all of you!!
SW- 182.4 in March 2017
GW - 145 - smashed this mid October
My daily weighing has taken on a new purpose as I enter my 3rd month of working on maintaining my weight under 145...so far so good!!
12/08 - 144.4 - coming in from round 24 with a rolling 7 day average of 143.5lbs
Day/Weight/Comment
12/09 - 142.6 - a little dip...
12/10 - 141.8 - I'm starting to figure out my high-low pattern...as long as the average stays the same it's all good. Today is family cookie baking day...I'm not so much worried about the cookies as I am about the Chinese take out we always have because no one wants to make dinner after all that baking...
12/11 - 143.0 - not bad considering how much beer and chinese food I had yesterday...
12/12 - 143.2 - normal little upswing...
12/13 - 142.6 - normal little dip....although my 7day rolling average is down to 143...so maybe it's a downward trend....will keep an eye on it. I don't feel like I'm eating at a deficit but I've been working extra days and I get tonnes of steps and flights of stairs in there so I may be burning more than I think.

Start 10/18/2017 = 147.9 * Goal = 130.0 and 20 miles/weekR22 * Start = 143.4 * Ave = 141.9 * Min = 140.2 * End = 141.2R25 * Start = 136.6 * GOAL: 135.0 by 12/25 - so for the end of this round, 136.0 as a high weight.
R23 * Start = 142.0 * Ave = 140.1 * Min = 139.4 * End = 139.6
R24 * Start = 140.0 * Ave = 138.6 * Min = 137.0 * End = 137.0
12/9 - 136.6 - Yesterday well under calories, 29 minute run.
12/10 - 136.2 - Yesterday under maintenance calories but not under daily goal, no workout, to bed at 7PM. Felt depleted and borderline sick. Drinking extra water today and feel much better, planning on a run.
12/11 - 137.0 - expected this bounceback. Ran 5.5 miles yesterday, under calories for goal but ate well.
Having this "135 by 12/25" goal led to me being too far under calories Thursday and Friday, and totally bonking out on Saturday. Counterproductive! I am all about the system, not the goal, and I have to return to that system and "let" the goal happen, instead of trying to "make" it happen.
12/12 - 138.2 and deserved. Gross headache all yesterday, came home sick, ate for "comfort" and kinda, yeah, couldn't summon the "give a *kitten*" to stop. I did go to the gym and walk gingerly on the treadmill for 3.5 miles. But still over maintenance by a bit.
12/13 - 137.4 - ate right at calories for slow loss yesterday, no workout (planned due to schedule). Feeling better but still a little knocked-down. Looking forward to a nice workout today for stress relief.

Feeling fine, thanks for asking. I took ibuprofen that evening, and have a slight sore spot on the back of my head, but think the headlamp battery pack took the brunt of my fall. That, and my keister, lol, which is fine also. Treadmill season in my basement started this morning, where I'm safe from the snow & ice. Good thing, too, b/c today Green Bay is getting at least 4-6" of snow. This morning when I went to the basement, dog was so, so sad.6 -

Enough. I'm off this afternoon to check out a gym - no more weather excuses for lack of exercise. And I've been lax about my eating, so seriously getting back on track and hitting the macros hard - 30P/30F/40C. We will be moving across the country in late February, and I want 10 pounds less of me by then. That's 10 weeks from now, so a pound a week, so 1.4 per 10-day round (assuming they'll be continuing in 2018, I hope?!?) I'm down a little from R15, but really, pretty stable over many weeks, so my metabolism is fine and this should be doable if I stick to the plan.
12/10 - 149
Back on track yesterday. Nothing showing on the scale, but I feel lighter, if that makes any sense.
12/11 - 149
Oh, for heaven's sake. It's like fat has superglue.
12/12 - 149.2
OK, now I'm really getting frustrated. The only thing different yesterday was that I was a bit heavier than usual on carbs (whole grain). I have been lower fat, higher protein & carbs than usual the past few days. I wonder whether that could make the difference? So disappointing!

Don't know what's going on! Eating within calories; exercising! Need to drink more water! My back has been hurting all week, maybe inflammation?? No matter; persistence is the key! Something's got to give, and it won't be me!
12/11: 215.5
Water and inflammation! I haven't really been working out like I should since my back has been hurting; now it's spreading into my hips and legs! Really don't want to make a doctor's appointment because I have one with the urologist on the 19th. Had one with the Gastrologist (sp) today, but I didn't make it! Tired!
12/12: 214.6
12/13: 213.7
Haven't been exercising this week because of back pain radiating down into my hips and legs! Been taking muscle relaxers and pain meds; also wearing back brace. Need to make doctor appt. but I already have one with the urologist next week, so I'll have to wait until after Christmas. Been drinking more water and watching what I eat! I'll be out of town for the next 3 days, but I still intend on making my goal this round! Onward and downward!6 -
Stable today; overate badly at lunch though so gonna have to make up for that later. Too cold/windy to walk much.
Day/Weight/Comment
12/09 - 152 lb. Gained two lb since surgery day. Time to start fresh!
12/10 - 150.6 lb. Probably mostly water weight since I've been slacking there, but I stayed in calorie limit yesterday!
12/11 - 151 lb. Drank a lot of tea yesterday, and had a good bit of salt probably. Going out for a walk today.
12/12 - 150 lb. Gotta get back into drinking more water. I drank a lot after surgery then took a break lol.
12/13 - 150 lb. Had a zeppoli at lunch for Chanukah; gonna have to make up for that later lol.
