Weight Loss Stall

Hello, recently for the past week or so my weight has stalled. I have lost 34.8KG so far and for the past week it’s been stuck in the 34KG to 34.7KG range.
I know it’s only a week, but it’s really strange. My height is 183cm, 151.7 KG at the moment. I have 1150-1600 calories most days so my weight loss has been quite fast. With 1KG weight loss a week goal and 500-900 calories remaining a day I wonder if I am taking it too far. Should I be trying to be closer to the goal calories MyFitnessPal says or is it fine?

1) it's one week. Totally normal to have weeks where you don't lose.
2) yes, you should be eating the calorie allotment MFP gives you, plus at least half of any calories burned through deliberate exercise. Men should be eating a minimum of 1500 calories a day to get adequate nutrition. I assumed you were female based on your cal intake until I looked at your profile. Eat more.3 -
A week without losing is not strange. Weight loss is not linear. But yes, you should be eating more. At your size it's fine to lose faster than the recommended limit (at most 1% of your total bodyweight per week), but you should still make sure you're getting enough calories and nutrients in to fuel your body.5

Well starvation mode is a myth, you will start losing muscle along with fat if you eat too little. As a male, you shouldn't eat less than 1500... Though I have been eating only ~1200 for the last 2 months without any noticeable energy loss or lifting problems, I do take a daily multi-vitamin but it's still not advisable so do it at your own risk!
The body is mostly water, this means even if you lost weight you might not even know for awhile. I went one week without losing anything, then lost 5 pounds the next week instead of my normal ~2.5 pounds/week. Weight loss is not linear. If you reach 3 weeks with no loss, then something might be up.2 -
Your body stops to adjust sometimes. I have been at a standstill for a month before and then all the sudden a bunch comes off. Just give it time.5

weight fluctuates over time - ive had 3 weeks without loss then 2kg suddenly come off over a day and stays off. Its mostly down to water retention masking weight loss due to a number of reasons.

Thank you guys! I’m now going to try and hit at least 1500 a day from now on and am taking a multivitamin. I never thought I’d have this problem... but my appetite has gotten quite low over time.0

Is 1500 what MFP gives you for 1 kg per week loss? That still sounds too low for your stats to me. This thread has suggestions for higher calorie, nutrient dense foods to help meet your (actual) calorie goal if you are struggling: http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10142490/a-list-of-calorie-dense-foods#latest0 -
Very Low calories temporarily suppress appetite...2

Not strange, just frustrating, I've gone weeks without losing and then whoosh.1

This has helped me too, thank you all!! I’ve also been at a standstill for a couple of weeks. Holding on, hold steady, it’s gonna come off. Thanks again for the reminder.
Sorry OP sometimes I read a thread that applies to me too.0
