    1 cup = 8 oz or about 0.25 L
  • The standard cup is 8 ounces....8 ounces equals 1/4 liter or 250 mil.

Right - there's just over 6 cups in your 1.5 liter container.

thank every1 for your help,, keep up the good work. xxx
  • I was the worst at drinking water, and my routine has me sweating buckets. To hydrate, I started using a gallon jug. I bought a gallon jug of water from the store and took it to work. When you take a drink, you naturally drink more. The problem quickly becomes NOT drinking TOO MUCH. I went from drinking one small bottle of water a day to drinking a gallon before 5:00.

I was wondering if a cup really meant a cup, too! I always heard 8 glasses a day. Our "cups" are way more than 8 oz., and I don't do well at sipping water all day. That's a relief to know!
