If you want to "tone" you want to lose the fat covering your muscles .. and have a sufficient muscle base for it to show. You will do this by losing fat (eating at a calorie deficit or it can also be accomplished at maintenance depending on your stats) .. there is nothing magical about keto that can get you there unless it helps you stick to your calorie intake goals. You also want to ensure you get adequate protein intake as well as follow a progressive lifting program for best results (to help retain/build muscle as you lose/maintain)
I'm confused by your photo though..2 -

This is why I thought it would help tone https://youtu.be/9xyIpdVfNW09

You need to lose more fat, or build more muscle. What does eating only fat and protein have to do with toning?
It’s about calories. Your legs appear to have a fair amount of definition. I can see a clear separation between your quads and hamstrings.1 -
If by tone you mean lose fat - a keto diet should be the same as any other method of calorie restriction, if it suits you then go for it. If you don't like that style of eating then don't.
If you mean tone as in build muscle - keto is generally inferior to other diets.

This is exactly the person I wouldn't want to listen. He promotes all the nonsense (fat vs sugar burner), sugar causes diabetes (it doesn't) and keto can prevent cancer (no evidence of this, although, ketogenic can help along with treatment in some cancers).
But get a moderate deficit, adequate protein (1.5-2.2g/kg) anda good lifting program:

Ketosis can help show off muscles by naturally helping you lose a few pounds of water weight.
For weight loss or muscle building, it is pretty neutral, unless eating keto helps you eat less or increase your protein intake (if it was low).5 -
Strength training, not food, will help you "tone".2

@psuLemon -- not picking on what I think is a typo, but since two completely opposite meanings are possible depending on which one of these words is the typo, you might want to clarify -- should this be "ketogenic can help along with treatment," or "ketogenic can help alone without treatment"?0 -

After such great success why do you feel the need for such a change? Going Keto is an effective way to manage your nutrition assuming that you're consuming calories that will allow healthy weight loss. One problem I hear is that people often think carbs are the enemy and they can just eat fat & protein until the cows come home and that's not really true. If you want to do it, then do it.
However, keep in-mind that effective and healthy weight management is a life-long goal and not something you challenge yourself with in 3-weeks, 3-months, or even a year. If Keto is conflicting with your lifestyle, then how long do you think you can maintain such a plan before you fall off and start bad eating habits again? Unfortunately ultra-strict plan such as Keto, Paleo, <insert diet brand name>, are too strict for the average person to maintain for a long time.
Set yourself for success:
1. What lifestyle changes could be leading towards consistently bad nutrition choices?
2. Of those, what can you eliminate or minimize?
3. What kind of plan can you consistently follow?1 -

It was supposed to be along. Good catch.0
