    WAY TO GO TEAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    CONGRATS TAMMYWALL!!

    what does the % mean?

the % is a more accurate way to determine the biggest weight loss since everyone starts at a different weight, losing 2lb means something different for everyone, so they use % as a fair weigh of measuring the weight loss based on your weight..does this make sense..lol

I will also be able to tell you when you have lost 10% of your body weight since that is a big milestone for some people during a weight loss process.

Anyone cooked a healthy meal yet and ready to post the recipe
  • Yup, last night I had homemade chicken nuggets, sweet potato fries and side salad.

For the chicken nuggets I cut boneless chicken breast into bite sized pieces. Dip them in a beaten egg (you can just use the egg white if you stay away from yolks because of the fat. Then dip them in a coating mixture. I'm staying away from wheat so I use ground flax seeds with some powdered garlic. (You could use a flour/flax mixture if you like. I don't like to much of a mess so I put some tin foil on a baking sheet spray it with oil. Place the nuggets on the foil lined sheet and spray again with oil.

For the sweet potato fries: Peel the sweet potatoes, cut into wedges. Place on a cookie sheet sprayed with oil, then spray them again. If you use regular potatoes you can also sprinkle them with garlic powder (i love garlic) or a cajun spice you get from the grocery store for spicy fries.

I like having this on a weekend because it feels like I'm having a treat meal.
  • Ooops, I forgot to say bake at 350 for 25 minutes. Enjoy :blushing:

mmmm yummy, I made sweet potatoe fries for the first time last week and they were sooo good !!!
I actually bought a big bag of presliced sweet potaotoes that you could either eat raw straight from the bag or bake them in the oven.
I love the idea of the ground flax seed as a mixture instead of bread crumbs or flour.
Thanks for the good idea !!

Enjoy the rest of the weekend !!!

    mmmmm yummy pizza !!!

    Tortilla Pizzas

    Healthy way tortillia shells
    Heathly way spaghetti sauce
Chicken breast (precooked) or I used the left over roasted chicken from the night before)
All your fixings, whatever veges you like. I chop up spinach very fine and sprinkle it on top
of the sauce then I layer with with my chicken, veges and I love pineapple as well and then
top with low fat mozza cheese.

Then i bake them in the oven on 350 for about 20 minutes.
My kids love them and because I get to eat a whole tortillia I feel like I'm
    eating alot !

Give them a try, we love them !! :flowerforyou: :drinker:

WtG kirsten..keep up the great work !!

I don't like cottage cheese by itself so when I have it for lunch, I add some yogurt and fresh fruit to it and oh my it's soooo good and the best part is it fills you up and gets rid of any sweet cravings !!!

We had wild salmon last night with dried parsley, garlic clove and lemon/lime zest. super good!! Steamed veggies along with it, some carrots, broccoli and pea pods, added some dill in the best bamboo steamer ever. highly recommended! had half a grapefruit for dessert.
  • Oooh what yummy ideas!

Cottage cheese with kiwi is delicious, so is cottage cheese and pineapple.
