so I guess it's time to say hello! I also just wrote my first blog post "slow start." http://www.myfitnesspal.com/blog/OnMyWay2STay/view/slow-start-133442

I'm a mom, a wife, and if there were any jobs available, I'd be a high school math teacher. I'll be turning 30 on August 21. By my 31st birthday, I'd like to reach and maintain my goal weight of 155 lbs. It's been about 9 years since I weighed that much.

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to change user names? Not crazy about everyone knowing my full name. I didn't realize what a metropolis this was when I signed up!

You can go to your profile, under settings, to change your user name.

Good luck on your weight-loss journey ~ the good news is that we're all on the same path with you. ;) Glad you got your username straightened out =)

Best of luck to you! I'm a teacher, wife, and mom, and I know how hard it is to balance everything and maintain a healthy lifestyle. I started over again July 12 and have about 110-120 lbs to lose. I'll be happy to give any encouragement I can!
