You clearly have a medical issue. Keep pursuing it wih a healh care povider.
I don't think exercise will hide unexplained swelling.

Well what happens if you do some gentle core exercises?

I wouldn't do any rigorous core workouts soon after eating though.

Have you tried Paleo? It’s basically an elimination diet - removes many of the common food allergies (dairy, gluten, soy, legumes, etc) from your diet as just the standard way of eating on that program.

I used Paleo as a tool many years ago. After about 6 weeks, I started reintroducing foods that were restricted as part of the Paleo Whole30 plan. That’s how I found out that I am gluten sensitive and also have some issues with refined sugar and brown rice.

I only mention this because I also used to have significant bloating after eating (along with a few other symptoms that led me down this path). My only warning is that you have to be patient, diligent and consistent to see results. The reintroduction of foods after a time of total elimination cannot be taken lightly as that’s when you’ll have the most clarity regarding actual allergies. The whole process took me almost a year to figure out what I was allergic to, but the results were worth the time commitment.

    Good luck.

Edit: adding a photo for reference. My psoriasis was terrible before I realized I was gluten sensitive and the dermatologist didn’t ONCE mention food as a possible root cause - instead, he issued me prescriptions for expensive topical ointments... ointments I haven’t needed in over a year now that I know that gluten was the culprit:

I have a friend who bloats after any type of milk products and grains. She demonstrated this to me once by taking a few sips of milk...within 10 minutes her fingers were twice the size. It was amazing. I am sorry doctors have not been helpful. Maybe an Integrative Dr. ?

OP, I don’t have an answer for you either but you’ll do better and possibly find answers on other forum groups. This site is primarily for weight loss and you’ll find most people here don’t understand bloating, food allergies, etc. Thinking bloating is fluid is a perfect example. It’s not. And then others just respond with one question/statement answers that have no purpose whatsoever other than to be derogatory (but they’ll defend it).

I’ve had stomach issues since I was a toddler, who knows why? Massive bloating after eating, hypoglycemia, and have terrible bowel issues (can never go to the bathroom). I’ve seen doctor after doctor and I’m not certain of the answer. A lot of them will try to give you prescriptions, don’t think that’s the answer either.

At any rate, I feel your pain. Our digestive systems can be very sensitive and there’s often not of a lot of consistencies so getting an answer or figuring something out is really difficult. I’ve found some foods that sit well and supplements to help.

All this to say, you’d do better finding more specific forum groups to find help.

In all fairness to the OP and subsequent posters, she didn't even ask for help or advice with her bloating issues... only if exercise would mask them. But many took the time to inquire and try to be helpful with what seemed to be the more important issue, with no response. But ultimately, it did in fact seem to be an issue outside the scope of this forum.
