Life or death

Hi, I’m Laura and newly diagnosed with Lupus. That alone is a strain on my body, but I certainly need to reduce my weight and keep myself as strong as possible. I have struggled with weight loss since I hit menopause and the fact I easily tire and I’m quite often in pain makes it difficult to exercise the way I should. I’ve decided that I want to make the best of what cards I’ve been dealt and do my best to lose the excess weight and be as fit as possible under my circumstances.
My husband and I have purchased an air fryer and we’ve been experimenting with veggies and low fat poultry and fish. I must say, things cook up pretty yummy and I’m excited about trying new recipes in this thing.
Happy New Year!

Hi, Laura! I'd love to be your friend on here. We're considering an air fryer... Glad to hear things are tasty!1

Welcome
I hope you'll find something that works for you. I have personally had success by abandoning low fat; allowing myself more fat, makes me crave more vegetables and whole grains, and an overall more balanced diet reduces sweet cravings.
