It is amazing the differences here. I have to be under 125 lbs to fit into a size 4. I'm 5'3 and 118 lbs right now and a size 4. I do have one pair of size 2 pants but they fit like a 4 and are falling off of me. I have another pair of jeans that are a size 7 that are snug. Definitely depends on the brand.0

I do have to point out that even numbers are always bigger. Juniors are the odd numbers. I wear 4's across the board at 141 but if I dive into the Juniors departments with the odd number sizes I have to get a 9 to fit my butt and it is loose in the waist. Forget a 5 or a 7 they are TINY. I always say Juniors are for girls who have never had children or butts, lol.1

I'm 5'5 and got into size 4s at 135.
I'm 5'5" and 139, and there is no way in heck I am even close to a 4 ( 6-8 now). Although, I am definitely bottom heavy...1 -
I'm 5"3, 132lbs and a size 4 or 6. 4 with pants and 6 mostly for tops cuz I have larger boobs.0
-
I am 5'3 and weigh 135 lbs. I am either an 8 or 10 realistically. I would have to weigh in the low 120's to be back into a 4. I am not bottom heavy either.0
-
I'm 5'5" 115 lbs and size 0 or 1 in Junior's depending on the brand..I wish women's wear had standardized sizes!!0
-
I am 5'4". When I was size 4, I was about 125lbs.
Right now I'm at 155 and still wearing my maternity clothes...lol
Also, some size 4s are different. Old Navy, for instance, is very liberal with their "size 4." But most of my jeans at a size 4 could only be worn when I was 125 or below. That was in the Junior's department.
If you are talking about the Woman's department, their "size 4" is a LOT bigger than a junior's.0 -
I wear a size 3/4 and am 5'5" and 125lbs.0

I am 5'3 and currently weigh 115lbs and wear a size 0/2. When I was a size 4 I weighed between 135 and 140lbs.0

I'm 5"4, 123 pounds - but I am comfy in a size 4 up to about 130 pounds0
-
I'm 5' 4.5" and currently weigh about 136. I fit into a size 4 pants after dropping under 140. I'm probably a 6 or 8 up top, though.0
-
I'm 5'8", weighed 137 when I weighed in this am, and I wear a size 4.0
-
I'm just under 5'5" and I'm currently at 135. I wear a size 4 dress but a size 6 to 8 pant. My upper half and my bottom half belong to two different people. Eek.0

I have never seen a size 4 in the juniors department, they are always odd sizes with the exception of 2, i.e., 1,2,3,5,7,9 etc.0 -
I'm 5'8 and 122 and 4 is a little big on me. I was a 4 when I was ~128. My waist is under 25 but my hips are like 36, so... belt action. i like the huge variety in this thread.0

I am 5'5 and 135lbs. I typically wear a size 4 in pants, but sometimes even a 2 depending on the store!0
-
I'm 5' 7 and 128. I wear a 4 and some 2s. I probably should be buying 2s but I always tell myself "there is no way you are in a 2" even if I am... I find myself buying baggy 4s.
I'm in the same boat...size 2 probably fits me a lot better, but mentally I feel like I should be in a size 4 so i settle for a little bagginess. I'm 5'4 and 112 lbs.0 -
5'6.5"

edit* I wear a size 5 in juniors0 -

I am 5'6 143lbs and a size 4!
I hold it all in my hips, butt, and thighs.... sigh.0 -
wow shapes really do vary!
I'm 5'8 and currently weight around 146 lbs. I wear size 8 or 10.
I got down to a size 4 when I got really sick a few years ago and weighed 118. Yikes!
I'm really curvy.0 -
I;m 5't6" and weight 121. Everyone's body is so different! I wear a six or a seven.
My body is rather unbalanced when it comes to carrying weight. I'm tiny up top and wear jeans sizes larger than some of my friends who are 10-20 lbs heavier than I am.
So yep, seems like a small size for your weight... but not a weird or a bad size. It's just YOUR size.0 -
I had lost weight a couple of years ago and got down to size 4. I am 5'4 and at the time was 141 lbs. I know a lady who weighed less than I did and she was wearing size 8.
I find it facinating how everyone carries their "weight" differently. I have always been compact and even at my heaviest 165 I was wearing a size 8/10 - People could never guess that I weighed that much, they always guessed lower. Same thing now... People tell me that I look like I weigh 120 (I WISH) -- Haha0 -
I'm 5ft 6. I weight 151 pounds. I'm comfortably in a 6, but have fit into some 4's lately. Target they were tight...Anne Taylor Loft fit like a glove. I wear xs/s on top. Waist is 27inches, hips 37.0
-
Depending on the brand and cut, I wear between a 2 and a 6. My favorite pair of jeans right now are ones that I bought when I was 18 (16 years ago...GAH!)---when I ran a lot. They are Levi's size 5. (Back then, low cut meant that it went just 1" or so under your navel.) I have some capris from Banana Republic that are OBVIOUSLY mismarked for size 0. Most of the clothes that I'm wearing right now are around size 4, but I haven't been clothes PURCHASING in a very long while. I am 5'0" and 108 pounds at the moment.0
-
i am 5 foot and weigh 122. sometimes i wear a 2, but sometimes i wear an 8, depending on the brand/cut. i have a 29 inch waist (that is disproportionately large for my size that i am working to reduce).
in fact because my waist is 29 and i weigh 122, body fat calculators have me anywhere from 31% to 43% body fat. ugh!1 -
I'm 5'2" and am in a 3/4 at 125 pounds.0
-
I've never been a size 4! I'm 5'6" and at my lightest 111 lbs. I was still in a size 6! But then that's been ummm 25 yrs ago! Sizes are different now I think lol.0
