I'm about 235 & 5 ft tall. Not a good combo. I've started this process too many times to mention. I've done an awful lot of thinking of losing weight this past week. How about you?3

SW is 310.6. I'm 5'8'', 40 years old and going all in. I started 3 days ago. Like you I have been down this road many times. I'm going to lose and keep it off this time.2 -

I’m 5’8 and weigh 315. All of my daughters school parents are floored when they learn what I weigh. I can tell it’s creeping up as I’ve noticed I’ve become mouth breather at night. I’m tired of leaving my pants undone so I can tie my shoes as I sit at the top of the stairs and use my sock to pull my ankle towards me to put on my shoes. It has to stop. I’m 45 this year and can’t continue this way.5

I’m 295 /6’... headed back to 235, maybe 225.0

I was morbidly obese (5'4" and 275, BMI 47) 18 months ago. I'm within normal BMI range now. You can do this.14

Me too! 14 months ago (5'3", 254, BMI 45). I'm now overweight. Slow and steady. You've got this.7

I used to be. I'm not any more. I quit eating so much, so often. Less often now. Less of me, too.5

Started as morbidly obese in March. Now I'm just overweight if you go by BMI, but that really isn't the best measure. I'm pretty damn thin. SW-375. CW-251. My goal is 235. Also I'm 6'7". If you're sitting at morbidly obese, just know this place works if you keep at it and rely on those who have good advice.3

Did you go to the gym or have videos at home for exercise? [/quote]
I just started walking and hiking in the beginning. Then joined a gym and did just cardio but also kept walking and hiking. Then I Bought a home gym and exercise bike. I spent the better part of a year working out at home, then I got work out of town so now I am back in a gym both at home and away at work.1 -
you are not alone. Persistence and time is all it takes. I believe in you. You can do it. Put in the hours, but in the work, and you can get to a healthy BMI.1

Yes there are 2 paths you can go down, but in the long run, there's still time to change the road your on

I started at 215lbs at 5' tall. It's taken 3 years of ups and downs. But, I'm finally at a good BMI.
You can do this. Don't give up. It'll take patience and time.... Just keep going.3 -
I can relate, I am 5' 3 212 I am 2 points from morbidly obese. About 4 years ago I lost 100 lbs I have gained half of that weight back. I am back on track trying to make some changes, I think a good portion of my weight gain has been from drinking and anxiety. I am a nervous eater. I have been focused for the last month enough to go to the gym. This month I am going to add changing my food habits and changing the way I deal with anxiety I wont fix it with food or alcohol. I find having people that are in the same situation helps. You got this, one minute at a time, one day at a time, small changes then add to it. It took a while for us to get here its gonna take a while to get us back to a healthy BMI. Some days will be harder than others but get right back up and continue on and don't beat your self up... Feel free to add me if you would like0

Myself as well. I'm under the obese category at 250 and 5'9". I started this lifestyle (again) back in September. Dropped 40 by Christmas and after Christmas and New Years festivities, I had a small set back. Got back on it today. We can do this! Everyone send me a friend request if you like!0
