    Number one answer is my kids... no contest!!
    Other things that bring me joy are cooking, hearing people laugh ... a true belly laugh and traveling to experience other cultures.

    Slapping someone in the face brings me joy. Also just any cute picture of any animal for a non-violent joy.

    Joy: recognizing and appreciating good friends in the moment; Fresh sheets and having the luxury to sleep as long as I want; the feeling after a good run

    Peace: good friends who listen to and comfort me; sound of the ocean; nighttime; staring at the sky, especially stars; being alone

    Joy: Fireplace fire on a cold winters night and smores; very first cup of coffee in the morning; fresh clean socks fresh out of the dryer

    Peace: Running outside before dawn before the world wakes up, quiet in the evening with 0 conversation, the 15 minutes before I fall asleep; Fireplace fire on a cold winters night and smores;

    My kids bring me a lot of joy, but very little peace. I find peace watching a morning sunrise with a freshly brewed coffee.
