Most embarrassing thing you ever did at the gym?

On a heavy leg day, I let out the loudest fart doing deadlifts right next to a lady doing some stretching exercises. Another time I vomited doing heavy squats...too much preworkout I think.

Where do I even begin? lol0

Better out than in, eh?
I wasn't watching and I tripped over a piece of gym equipment, caught myself. hey it happens. If you're not going to look like a goofball every now and then, how you ever going to have any fun in life?1 -
Oh daaang! Maybe no one heard you let one rip. My most embarrassing moment was falling off the Stair Master. My foot got sucked down an escalator when I was little and it took a ton of guts for me to get on it...finally after a few sessions I got enough confidence to NOT stare at my feet as I took steps and wham. Not only did I fall off, but the stairs clamped on my shoe and ripped the whole front rubber thing off of my sneaker too -_-5

Oh, she did more than hear me lol. I blame the protein of course1

Nothing too bad... yet! I was ducking under the bar to do squats and not paying attention and banged the hell out of my head on the bar..0

No one helped, I would have ran right over. I got a bar stuck on my chest before but I was lifting alone had to drop weights off one side then the other side.

Embarrassing or sad... you decide.
I was never comfortable in the gym, so sometimes I'd walk in and if there was a good amount of young fit dudes there, I'd walk out to avoid the embarrassment of working out besides them.2 -
I peed during deadlifts during competition...someone else had to clean the platform. I guess that's embarrassing, but I won "best female lifter," so I didn't care.3

Didn't happen to me...but I've seen 2 people fall on treadmills. That's super embarrassing; neither was hurt, so I averted my eyes quickly.1

You're sweet, actually my "partner" helped me up after laughing at me...so, yea0 -
Almost fell off the treadmill because I tried to grab my phone that fell on it.
Farted on the treadmill, might not have been as silent as I thought (I was wearing earbuds).1 -
I've had "lifters leak" a few times. Had to add a bunch of fiber to my diet - it helped. Not really embarrassing, since nobody noticed and it was fully contained by my cheeks. Cleaned up in the bathroom - but they were close calls. Told my wife about it and she was mortified. I've got her lifting heavy now and she's all paranoid thinking that it's a normal thing to have happen. lol2

My Mariachi band played Eye of the Tiger in the wrong key...super embarassing7

I dropped a dumbbell onto my gallon jug and it exploded everywhere. Peak hours too at 5pm. FML2

Keeping this story in my head for when I need a mood boost. Thank you.

Too much weight squatting. Did three reps and my knee gave on the last one and I flipped over the rail of the squatting rack. Put me out for 6 months and now I don’t squat anymore! Lol0

I have fallen off the treadmill. My towel fell down and I thought I should move out of the way not to step on it. I took a ride off the end of it. And then people came over because they thought I got hurt. Only my pride got hurt.
I accidentally kicked my water bottle over at Yoga. It opened up and spilled water everywhere and I swore. Ooops.0 -

In fairness, this would be less of a likelihood if the fixed safety bars weren't so F*ing high that us shorties have to step out of the rack to squat. At some point, I'm pretty sure this is going to be me.0 -
I was doing front barbell shrugs and the friction got me..welll....'excited'. So I spent the next 15 minutes doing the old tuckeroo and staring at the wall. Needless to say I no longer do front shrugs,1

After watching woman after woman pee during deadlifts while watching the Raw Nationals a few months ago, this is no longer embarrassing, just a fact of life. So far, I haven't had a "gusher", just a little drip or two,0 -
Ive fallen on my butt doing all kinds of squats, mostly squat snatches. Im usually in the floor laughing. I use rubber bumper plates, so they bounce instead of making a bunch of noise. Things happen0
