Feel free to add me. I've fought ana off and on for well over a decade. Still need talking down now and then. Could always use more friends who get it2

I am recovering from Binge eating disorder and I have body dysmorphia. Anyone is welcome to add me0

No official diagnosis, but I fall into binge/restrict cycles. Like, I'll have a day or a few hours where I pig out..then I eat little for a few days, then I have a binge day/hour, and it starts again. I generally don't have stable eating habits. Honestly, I think I need help but I'm not getting it because no one is taking me seriously...story of my life, heh.
Feel free to add.1 -
I happen to be an older member (51 yo) struggling with an ED, along with many other mental issues. I've gained 70 pounds over the past 4 months. I am well enough now to exercise and eat well, but my mind is not well in regards to healthy eating. I have lost 11 pounds in several weeks. Counseling has been somewhat helpful. I could use supportive friends. Feel free to add me.

Sometimes I ask myself where do I draw the line? When is obsessively counting calories too much? It seems like second nature by now but it also seems unhealthy to obsess like this... my relationship to food is so disordered ... does anyone else feel the same?2

Yes. I do all the damn time. I obsess so much over food and exercise. I actually started listening to a lot of podcasts ( summer innanen- fearless rebel radio) and I have learned a lot about just dieting and everything in general. At the start of my disorder it was so intense. I'm at the end stages of learning to "quit dieting", but it's so hard. My eating disorder and body dysmorphia creep on me a hell of a lot.1 -
Ugh yes, and the worst part is the more I lose the better I feel, I can't seem to draw a line anymore!
Anyone's welcome to add me.0 -
Feel free to add me as well. Recovering binge eater here (and hopefully I'm not making a grave mistake by doing that whole calorie counting again!).
I do battle with body dysmorphia as well, although mine is more gender- than weight-related, to be fair. Yet a whole other challenge. Oh frabjous joy.1 -
You can add me:)0

I have binge eating disorder and am simultaneously in recovery AND trying to lose weight (for health reasons). I'm trying not to define my worth by my weight while doing what's best for my body. Feel free to add me if you struggle with a similar situation!1

I had anorexia, and I am currently trying to beat over eating. You can add me if you want1

Ugh, the obsession with calorie counting. I won't eat till I log first to see where I sit for the day. If I don't like where I am with calories, carbs, etc. then I won't eat it and find something else.2

I am new to this calorie counting; usually is a set up for me in terms of becoming an obsession. I have dealt with all types of eating disorders since I was 12 and I am now 51. I am looking for support as I try to eat a more balanced, less restricted diet and not be so rigid in my routines. I am an exercise addict and stick to my safe foods that will not cause me to gain weight. You’d think with all the therapy, treatment, and knowledge that I would have it all together. Not so much. I want to be free, but it’s scary. It’s so important to be thin and fit.2

I have an eating disorder too. Feel free to add me for those who are still active.0

I was diagnosed with anorexia(and other mental health problems as well but that’s not the point) 2 and 1/2 years ago. It went unnoticed for a year and I really lacked the peer support that I need during that time. I’ve been in treatment and am currently getting therapy. I want to help those who were and are in my shoes, because to this day, I have realized that it doesn’t really leave, you just manage it better . Feel free to add me.0

Rocovered, here. Still have minor struggles some times, but I've been out of that mindset for the most part for 5 years.0
