If you could invite any 5 living persons to dinner, who would it be?

Mine would be:

1. Barack Obama:happy:
2. Bill Clinton:happy:
3. Bill Maher:happy:
4. Larrry David:laugh:
5. David Letterman:laugh:

The first 2 would be so captivating to talk to. The last 2 would be a laugh a minute especially Larry David and the middle one of Bill Maher would be a great facilitator, with many insights. I miss his show P.I.

Who's yours?

    Hmm...

    I think I'd invite...

    1. Glenn Beck - he and I share the same political views, he has a commonsense take on life and he is one of the most dedicated individuals I can think of
    2. Dan Rather - he is an amazing reporter, he has experienced so many world events and I miss seeing him on the news. I'd just love to hear him tell stories.
    3. Rudy Giuliani (sp?!) - he is a very humble individual who handled 9/11 very well for his city - I would've loved to see him as my President (I can't wait for the next four years to fly by and I will be praying for our country), I'd love to hear him speak about our current situation overseas.
    4. Dave Ramsey - he has the best get-out-of-debt advice I've ever heard, he believes in paying cash for everything, he said we could have avoided this economic crisis if creditors and banks would have just used one, single word: NO! There are so many things I'd love to hear his opinion on.
    5. Jillian Michaels - self-explanatory. She's tough, she knows what she's talking about, I'd love to have that real-life education she could provide.... even if she yells at me.

I just checked your profile. 28 year old female. I mean, do you really think you could get a word in edgewise at your table? Those are some TALKERS.

I'd invite Ferran Adria - world renowned chef from Barcelona, to cook the dinner. (You need to reserve a table at his restaurant at least 6 months in advance.) And as my other guests, 4 prominent women in business so that I could impress them and hopefully get an offer to work with them.

    Andrea Jung (Avon)
    Meg Whitman (eBay)
    Indra Nooyi (Pepsi)
Mireille Guiliano (Veuve Clicquot) - and also the author of "French Women Don't Get Fat"

We could talk about all aspects of consumer business, the relative merits of champagne and (diet) pepsi, why there aren't more world renowned female chefs! If Ferran is not available, I'd invite the chef from French Laundry in Napa Valley. If he's not available... well, I'd just go down the list of restaurants where it's hard to get a table. I need a reason for these business leaders to dine with me after all!

    4. Maylia Obama (if thats how you spell it)

    1. Wayne Dyer
    2. Deepak Chopra
    3. My Mom (she's hundreds of miles away and I miss her so)
    4. Joyce Meyer
    5. And my man, but he'd have to agree to listen and not roll his eyes etc etc (he & I differ greatly when it comes to philosophies of life and spirituality) Maybe he'd learn something or have a revelation of some sort! (Not that I want to change him or anything).

I thought about Oprah, but honestly, she interrupts people too often. (i.m.o.) Sorry for all the Oprah fans!
