I'm new here and looking to make some positive changes. Any ideas for work outs for a person with bad knees? I know if I get some of this weight off of me, my knees will feel better, but the challenge is my arthritis makes it difficult for me to exercise sometimes

Need more info. However, from my personal experience i.e. - arthritic knees, hips, ruptured disc with sciatica etc, etc. SWIMMING. It is the ultimate low impact exercise. I have lost close to 4 stone with the aid of MFP & a regular swimming routine. I walk very little, coz I cant, and it hurts if i do. Just remember when trying to lose weight it 80% diet & 20% exercise, no point in killing yourself with workouts & then eating like a horse. Good luck, if I can do it anyone can. I couldn't even swim when i started !!!
