But that's not my point..it was a question to those that have done This, if their are none then so be it.. My friend has lost 100 pounds in 6 months, she told me within the first 2 weeks she lost 22 pounds but she did shakes.. So I know that it's possible so I wanted to here other things others have tried and if there's is none then so be it!!!!
Then why are you on here asking? Why not just have your friend walk you through how she did it? Why do you need further validation from a bunch of strangers on the internet? This is just weird.
Well if you read my statements, it's simply to here from others and to see if if something that I can twitch to my diet.. And as I stated, she did it through shakes and I don't really care for them. So I do track and exercise.. That's what this community is here for, to bring together all types of people who has the same goals but may go about it differently.. Vegan, Low Carb, Keto, High Carb Etc.. So again that's why I posted the question and if there's no one on this community that has lost close to or a mere 20 pounds within 2 weeks then okay!! And I will continue to do what I am doing which is tracking my calories and exercising.....

IF she dropped that much in first 2 weeks it was mostly-or entirely- water weight/ Weight from food leaving her bowels/stomach from just drinking liquis. She did NOT lose 20 pounds of fat in 2 weeks, Nor will you. The End.12

Well, and the other reason you wouldn't hear from someone claiming to do this, is that describing their method would likely be against the rules of the forum.3

Who cares if it's fat!!!! That's not the point it was 22 pounds from where she started.. And so what if I don't loose 20 pounds in 2 weeks, I'm losing weight by exercising and tracking calories.. So your comment was10 -

Let me give you my experience: a little over 10 years ago, I weighed 300 pounds (I was about 170 overweight). I had gastric bypass. You don’t get any more calorie restrictive than that early outl unless you’re dead. I walked 3 miles a day within a week of surgery. At no time did I ever come close to losing 20 pounds in 2 weeks, even at my best.9

People are trying to help you... why get mad. It is physically impossible to lose 20 pounds of "fat" in 2 weeks.. end of story. If you did lose that much "water weight" as soon as you started eating/drinking again you'd gain it back so NO it's not 20 pounds that will stay off like doing things the right way.6

This community, regardless of way of eating, prioritises health above all. 20lbs in 2 weeks in not healthy at all, and therefore won't be condoned on this community.10 -

Water comes back. So does fat, if you're not careful, but water absolutely will.5 -

Losing more in the first little bit can have a lot to do with water retention, not actual fat loss.
100lbs in 6 months equates to about 4.2lbs per week. It’s a lot, but if you have a lot to lose, it’s do-able.
Like others have said, a 3500 calorie deficit is equal to 1lbs of fat, so in order to lose 4.2lbs per week, you would need a deficit of 14,700calories per week, or 2100 calories per day. That is a HUGE deficit, and likely very unhealthy. Even if you decided to aim for that, your body would be so tired, and you would be so cranky.

Lol, it really is.. I t really trips me out that some people just act like they do everything by the book.. A weight loss community is for people of all sorts to share their experiences, and if it's something that you haven't experienced then you really shouldn't come down on others that may have went about it differently.... But like I said I've lost 100 pounds so I know.. Everybody is different, I've been changing up my diet and exercising and I have already lost 14 pounds within 2 weeks, it's not 20 but it's close and it doesn't have to be twenty.. But once again if there's anyone out there that have lost 20 pounds within 2 weeks I would love to hear from you11

It is my understanding, from the research I have done on high protein, low fat diets that it IS theoretically possible to loose 20 pounds in 2 weeks safely IF you are very, very obese. In fact, you see a few of the people featured on My 600 Pound Life do just that. You would have to pretty much eat nothing but proteins, healthy fats, and a limited amount of low carb vegetables (like broccoli, cabbage, lettuce, spinach, kale, greens). It is hard on the kidneys -- I would consult a doctor before I tried this, for that very reason. The kidneys are forced to filter alot of extra protein doing this diet. But yes, it is theoretically possible to loose 20 pounds in 2 weeks, but I wouldn't do it unless I was under a doctor's supervision. That's my opinion, for what it is worth. I would suggest if you are serious about doing this, that you investigate ketogenic diets or the Dugan diet.

No, that's not really what it is, because then there would be threads on MFP about how to most effectively have an eating disorder... This site is about being mindful, healthful/healthy, and finding support for those things.10 -
