Puts the toilet seat up or down

Is only respectful in mixed company to leave down.... even though they never put it up for us

We've always done down to keeo animals and young children out of it. Also because I don't wear glasses and usually don't turn on the light if I get up to go potty in the middle of the night because it hurts my eyes. Usually Icm pretry good at feeling for it, but a couple of times I was too sleep muddled and didn't notice the seat up in time.
