Healthy breakfast

I'm looking for haethy, protein filled breakfast ideas that I can make this morning with things I have on hand. Ideas??

    My fridge is very well stocked. I'm just looking for ideas here that won't blow my daily numbers. Any suggestions can be adapted to equivalent ingredients if I don't have an exact match. Lol

    Open fridge. Find something you like the look of... Eat that! Breakfast can be whatever you like. I don't eat anything in the morning, it's the perfect way to not blow my daily numbers, and give me more calories to spend later in the day.

    That depends on what you mean by healthy and protein filled, and what you have available. Protein rich foods are meat, fish, eggs and beans. Grains, dairy and nuts also contain protein. Generally spreaking, a healthy diet is varied and balanced, and people seeking for protein foods are usually way overshooting their actual needs. You can most likely eat what you like. If you want something different, buy ingredients according to that for later meals.

    Saute off what ever veg you have in the fridge, add some meat or pulses if you don't eat meat.

    When they are almost cooked beat some eggs and stir them through.

    Greek 0% yogurt with fruit and seeds

    Bacon and eggs with mushrooms and beans

    I’m a big fan of leftover veggies in eggs. PB2 on healthy bread toast. I can’t make myself like Greek yogurt, but it’s here and has protein. I’m a big apple eater in the morning....easy to grab and go with a cheese stick.
    Or protein powder in cashew milk

    2 eggs, 2 bacon. That's basic proteiny stuff.

    Yesterday I had alvacado toast with a fried egg. I thought I was doing really good till I looked at the breakdown last night and saw that my fat was 17 points too high and my protein was 6 points too low. So I'm trying to get all of that in balance. I eat breakfast, then work out. Then I usually eat dinner before I go in for my night shift.

    I make oatmeal and stir in Greek Yogurt. Eggs are a great choice.

    It was helpful. "no breakfast" is a perfectly acceptable suggestion.
    If you'd like helpful suggestions, providing more info might allow people to give answers that are more helpful and acceptable for you (like, what you have on hand, what you might normally eat and your issues with it for breakfast)

    I have eggs, bacon, turkey bacon, left over turkey from a very late holiday celebration this week. Cheese, tomato, onion, whole grain wheat bread, pico do gallo, kale, spinache, broccoli, cauliflower, herbs, spices, coniments, mike, orange juice,and I'm sure a bunch of other stuff that just isn't coming to mind

    Protein and fat macros are generally seen as minimums. You could have eaten less avo to reduce the fat, and added an egg white to your whole egg to bump up the protein.

    Whole eggs are a fantastic source of protein and fat (with some good nutrients). The yolk has the fat, whilst the egg white has most of the protein - I can not stand just egg whites (I think they are snot like, and slightly rubbery and bland) so I get the goodness of whole egg by using at least one whole egg, then bump the protein up with some extra whites.

    Not using all whole eggs also gives you the opportunity to add other fats (like avo!)

    That's a good idea!!! I think im going to make an omlet with my left over turkey and some fresh pico DE gallo with some cheese, maybe some fresh lemon juice as well. Thought??

    I'd add some of spinach/kale to the omelette... But I'm all about fitting in as many vegies as possible

    For ages I had a two egg omelet with lots of vegetables and some cottage cheese or greek yogurt on the side.

    Today I had steel cut oats (mixed with cauliflower rice, worked surprisingly well) with protein powder, a banana, and some walnuts, and then some brussels sprouts, zucchini, and tofu on the side.

    I used to have leftover dinner quite often.

    You don't have to meet a specific macro ratio for breakfast, though -- my breakfasts when I did the omelet were higher fat and lower carb than my other meals, just how I preferred it. I do find I like to get around 25-30 g of protein and some vegetables in my mornings, otherwise I don't care.

    Whole eggs are a pretty standard choice. I avoid cured bacon because of the salt and nitrates. Costco sells Jones Farm Uncured Canadian Bacon at a good price (I freeze half).

    But, I don't like eating eggs that much. I eat a serving of oatmeal with berries, walnuts, milk, and a dab of Greek yogurt most days. Works for me, but isn't ultra low carb. I get plenty of protein at lunch and dinner.

    Whatever you want! I'm having a chicken sliced on flat bread with a garlic-dijon aioli for breakfast with carrots and yogurt dip. Lots of protein. Sometimes I have scrambled eggs or tuna on a wrap. Just depends on my mood. Be sure to weigh and track it.

    Have you got a food processor? Or even a grater? Whiz or grate your raw Cauliflower for Cauliflower rice... Easy peasy.

    I did add some spinach and am eating my first egg white omlet. It doesn't really taste much different to me. I think I need to buy an egg separate now though to save time. Lol

    You left all the yolks out? You do need some fat... There's good nutrients in there too!

    I eat the same breakfast every day, occasionally varying the flavors of the oatmeal, yogurt (the protein powder is mixed with this), and bars (which also have 14g fiber). 44% carbs, 18% fat, and 38% protein, an ideal mix of fuel to start the day.

    As difficult as it is to believe, this is actually my favorite meal of the day and the one that I most look forward to!
