Should I strength train more, watch calories better, drink a gal of water. So many ideas but results are lacking. What is working for everyone?

If your goal is weightloss: Correct logging of food intake, sticking to a sensible calorie target, realistic expectations, and loads of patience, is the safest bet.3

There are very specific guidelines for achieving your goals. Guesswork will more than likely leave you giving up. I'm a PT studying Sport and Exercise Science and know a little bit to help. I am currently dropping bodyfat and have made a pretty in-depth excel spreadsheet you're more than welcome to have for free if your goal is the same.2

It seriously helps to have short term goals that add up to a huge goal. Also patience is very very very important1
