Need support with low carb diet

Hi I'm 46 yr female really have tried lots of different diets and have started on a low carb to try to more some weight to be more comfortable and confidant in my own body.
Looking for help and support please

    What kind of help and support? Why did you choose low carb (and how low)? Have you tried just eating less (and moving more)?

    Help with understanding the low carb diet. I have tried all the SW and WW diets and as I like cheese and cooking with butter and olive oil I seen Tom kerridge and thought go e it a go.
    Eating less I have a healthy diet and used the app over time and weight does not move. Moving well I have a desk job and find it difficult to get exercise in to my days

    Weight loss is down to consistently and for real eating fewer calories than you burn - this goes for low carb as well. You have to set a good calorie target and stick to it. A healthy diet is enough of everything and not too much of anything over time, so if you're overweight, you don't have a healthy diet. It sounds like low carb can be a good match for you. But you have to eat less no matter what diet you choose.
