Have you been pulled over by a cop and if so, what for?

Speeding, Didn't think I had a seat belt on, and headlight/tail light out

Most recent - light above license plate was hanging (the clip is broken so it doesn't stay where it should)...

Umm other than that, expired plates (granted I was in the process of renewing them when I got pulled over...I hadn't been using my car for like 6 months and was just walking places prior to this) and once for a brake light being out

Speeding, squeeling my tires, registration expired, and asked out. The last was kinda creepy. He was there when I went into a movie and there when I came out. Persistent...

He was also very unprofessional. Actions like his give all officers a bad name.

Yes for speeding, driving with expired licence and also for failing to stop completely at a stop sign.

Making a wide right turn (just a DUI stop, wasn't drinking); pulling out of my neighborhood (also a DUI stop and when I asked why he pulled me over it was because he thought my lights above my plate were out, but they weren't. Gave me a written warning for that), headlight out, and speeding.

All within 4 years of driving...

Never, but I keep waiting for it to happen. It seems to have happened to most drivers so in the long run its bound to happen to me at some point. Mind you I did see a policeman reverse into the block of flats I stay in...Glasgow's finest! Gawd help us all!

Yes, but my dad is an officer so... I try to make sure this doesn't happen too often. It's been over 15 years since I've been pulled over for anything.

speeding (I think like 4 times). Burnt out break light. Expired tags...I had received the little notice to renew, but it was during the holidays and things were a mad house and I completely forgot...

    Speeding
And expired license plate. I was able to get out of that because I had just had my van serviced and couldn't get it validated until I drove it a bit

Speeding, didn’t have my seat belt on, was driving with an expired plate, and was driving with no lights on. I’ve never had a ticket though.

pretty girls usually don't get tickets

Guess I'm not pretty I got a ticket for speeding once. Luckily he caught me when I had slowed down a bit otherwise I'd have lost my license

he was probably into men then! :)

I hear that. when I got my first speeding ticket I was doing around 85 in the 35, and he clocked me at 73, and that's only because I slammed my left foot on the brake LOL

I was changing lanes cause I'd be getting off the highway soon. I used my brothers name cause he's a cop and the one who stopped me was one who didn't get breaks so the fact I got it bumped down to the minimum was lucky. It was hubs BMW I was in and it was such a nice drive I would always go way too fast
