What is goal weight, current weight and start weight? If you have pictures feel free to post them.

My start weight was 61kg (135lbs) and current weight 58kg (129lbs.)
My origonal goal was 50-52kg (110 - 114lbs) but i'm not sure if that is acheivable so might change to 52-54kg (114-118lbs)

I've got further to go. My starting weight was 201lbs, although my weight when I went into the hospital to have my baby was 225. I'm at 190 now and would like to get to 125.

Don't I feel like the fatty 5'5'er right now? I started at 184 and I'm down to 169 (or less, that was last weigh in) and my goal right now is 150. I've never weighed less than about 135 and at 145 a few years ago I looked pretty emaciated, so I will just redetermine once I get to 150.

Anyway, good luck to you! :)

Started at 178 lbs. At 139 lbs right now.

My goal weight initially was 128 lbs -- that's 50 lbs total! -- but we'll see how I look/feel when I get there.

Started at 180; current 148; goal is 140 but I felt my best when I was around 135 lbs in my 30's. May adjust to 135 depending how I feel when I reach my current goal.
  • I haven't been measured for height in YEARS but I'm either 5"5 or 5'6"... SO I figured I can post here haha.

    Starting weight was 246
Current weight is 238 (started my healthy lifestyle two weeks ago)
Goal weight that I want to get to is 150. I really can't picture myself there yet though because I've never been skinny my entire life... I think once I hit 200 that it'll be easier to see what my body will look like.

And I keep forgetting to take "before" photos" but tomorrow I'll make myself do it haha.

I'm 5'3-4, and right now I'm at 139. Goal is to get below 130 in the next 2 months (before Nov), and ultimate would be low 120s (which is where I was at 5 years ago).
  • Hi, I'm new here. I'm around 5'5'' and my CW is 135 lbs and my GW is 120 lbs.
  • The CDC's BMI calculator says a healthy weight range for an adult 5'5" woman is 111 to 150 pounds. Other sources say this does not take into account frame size. I'm large-framed (used this calculator to determine frame size: http://www.healthstatus.com/calculate/fsz ). I've seen frame size/ideal weight charts that say as high as 155-158 is acceptable/healthy/not overweight for a 5'5" woman with a large frame, and thinking back over the years and looking at photos of myself when I weighed about 135-140 and wore a size 7/8 (and a 36D bra), I believe a healthy weight for me would be 145-155. I just didn't feel (or look) healthy at 135. My jawbone was too prominent. I really was starving myself to be that thin. At 150-160 I was the healthiest/strongest/happiest I have ever been in my life.

My all-time high was 228 pounds, right after I had my daughter, when I was 22 (10 years ago). I held steady at 220 pounds (38G bra, size 2X or 18/20/22) for the past few years. I have PCOS (and no medical insurance), and I finally just got tired of being fat and unhealthy. 6 weeks ago I decided to do something about it. I joined MFP and changed the way I eat. I lost almost 10 pounds (then started my period 3 days ago and gained back over 4 pounds...crying inside...hoping next week the number goes back down, because my diet has been totally fine).

My goals are to be under 200 by the beginning of October and 179 or less by New Years 2012 (out of the obese category and into "just' overweight for the first time in over 12 years). My "ultimate" goal weight is 145-155. I'll be happy if I'm 160 or less by July of next year. That would be 60+ pounds in a year, which should be totally do-able as long as I don't lose my motivation. :)

I started at 170 lbs, and have been hovering around 140 for a couple months. My goal weight (130) isn't my true goal.....it's fitting into single-digit pant sizes. And now, thanks to MFP friends, to have muscles.

    hi

I'm aiming for 113lb, but don't know if this is really realistic.

    I started at 158lb & am currently 155lb.

My starting weight was about 152 lbs (didn't weigh, so not 100% sure). My goal is 130 lbs, I am currently 133, I am thinking of switching goal to 125, though. I'm not sure. I look ok at 130. I wouldn't want to be below 120. I have been 112 lbs, and was severely underweight (BF% of 14), and stopped getting periods.

My SW was 288 which is what I weighed when I had my baby. I'm down to 265. My goal is 140 and I'm giving myself two years to get there. I have two reunions that year so I want to make an impression and be able to walk in feeling confidant.
  • Hi Ladies,
My SW was 146.8, my highest weight ever. I'm still shocked I gained so much weight over the course of one year. MFP SW was 138, CW 123 and my GW is 118.
More than anything I wish to remain healthy and fit while making better food choices "forever" I need to overcome this battle for life.

I'm 39 and 5'5. My starting weight was around 160#.

Horrible photo from January when I was already down to 152#, wearing size 10 jeans.

Photos from last night at 129.5#, wearing size 2 jeans!

I'm not trying to lose any more. If another few pounds happen to drop, that's ok. If I happen to gain a few while strength training, that's ok, too.

I have a large frame and I do not even recall the last time I weighed in the 160s....middle school, I think.

I will determine if that is my final goal once I get there.

The other day, I told someone I still had 40 lbs to lose and they asked me if I wanted to look like a crackhead! ha

Im 5.5 and my starting weight was 168. Im now at 135. Im not sure if I want to stop now or try for 5 more lbs. My original goal was 140, but I just kept eating right and 5 more dropped off. I am happy at this weight and didnt think I would ever see it again!!

I'm 5'5" and hit about 170 - my initial goal was 135ish but I've been floating around 148-150 since April - my body apparently really likes that range! I'm comfortable with my exercise and eating, though, and I'm much more fit than before, so I can't complain..

    And, I have you beat!

    SW: 266
    CW: 213
    GW: 175

But, I don't know if that's my final goal weight. I guess I'm going for a look and feel, more than a number on the scale. I haven't been 175 in so many decades (ha!) that I don't even know what it looks like. I was 195 about 10 years ago, and really liked how I looked/felt then. So, that was my initial goal. But, as I got closer and realized how it's feasible to go lower, I adjusted. So, now 175 is the goal. But, who knows. Maybe I'll move it down to 165. Or 150.

I don't really have any desire to be tiny or very thin, though :)
