How many carbs should I limit myself to in a 2000 calorie diet?

You lose weight through eating at a calorie deficit. Carbs have no bearing on weight loss or gain, it's the calories that count for that.

Setting protein, fat & carb (macro) goals are personal preference. If you have medical issues re: carbs, then lower those. Protein, fiber and fat are generally filling components. But that's a different combination for everyone. You might tweak your macro goals, if you find you are hungry often. Protein is the building block of lean muscle, so you want to (at least) meet those goals each day.

As stated above.....it's calories for weight loss.

How many do you want? It may be more helpful to determine what your minimum requirements for protein and fat are, and let carbs fall where they may.

My thought too -- a good approach is to find out what's a reasonable minimum for you for protein and fat and then experiment with what makes you happy.

Agreeing with this approach as well. It is, in the long run, the most sustainable.

0 to about 70% carbs is where most people fit.

I agree with meeting your protein and fat minimums and then filling in the extra calories as suits your needs whether it is extra protein, fat or carbs.
