It must be real!

While out food shopping today my little girl was stood in front of the freezers chosing frozen lollies when a man was waiting to get to the cornettos - he commented to my daughter how hard it was to choose as they were all really yummy - I said I don't indulge myself - his comment back - that's why you are so slim! I told him that was a really massive compliment to me and thanked him ( he must have thought I was a tad strange!)
It made me realise that after years of being & feeling fat that I must now be seen as slim to other people - it felt really strange to hear a stranger tell me something that I haven't felt or been in 15+ yrs. I guess it takes some adjusting when you have been stuck in a 'fat' body for soooo long.
