Setting Up Diet Profile

I get super confused as to what to put for "How would you describe your normal daily activities?" I just lost my job, so I've been able to workout more than usual this month. That said, outside of running about 60-65 mins a day (5x a week), I'm pretty sedentary throughout the rest of the day/night. So am I sedentary or active? Right now, MFP is telling me to consume 1200 to lose 1 lb per week based on me selecting sedentary and putting that I plan to exercise 5x a week for 60 mins. Then, once I log a daily journal, I'm confused if I should net 1200 calories even after exercise or only eat 1200 calories regardless of whether I hit the gym or not. Help!

The question that MFP asks about your daily/weekly exercise goals when you set your Goal is aspirational only; your response does not factor into MFP's calculations at all when determining your daily Goal.
When you do an activity or exercise beyond your self-estimated activity level, you should log that additional activity to ensure your rate of loss/gain or maintenance is achieved.

The activity descriptors make no mention of exercise, so it's just supposed to be your day to day hum drum. You account for exercise activity with the MFP method by logging and then getting additional calories to eat back. Just be careful not to overestimate expenditure.
Your exercise goals are just for you and have no bearing on your calorie targets...you can play around with the numbers and you will see. They're just for you to see if you're meeting your exercise goals.0
