PMT and dieting

I have only been on my diet a week, and now have terrible PMT! I'm craving sweeting things which is usually very unknown for me I usually crave crisps and bread!

I just wondered if anyone has any tips of how to get through the dreaded PMT cravings and also the extra pounds you gain?

    I NEVER EVER weigh myself during that time. I know it is so hard, but just don't. Keep doing what you are doing, with the occasional splurge. I like semi-sweet chocolate (Ghirideli) or a super dark chocolate-- just make sure you know how big the serving is and account for the extra cals.

    You need more carbs when you are pre-menstrual. If you don't get them , the PMT is much worse. About the only time I eat sugary things is when I am pre-menstrual.
