I like eating the occasional bagel. For stop and shop. Myfitnesspay has completely wrong info for the everything bagel. Its shows having 70 calories less then it actuall does.

Have you guys noticed other green check foods tjat were completely wrong?

The green check just means enough ppl at one time confirmed the info was correct

That the calories are different could mean the recipe changed recently or somethibg

    Those are great.

And yeah, the green check mark isn't reliable at all. I try to find the USDA entries, and I check everything I'm using for the first time when logging on MFP.

Ditto @lemurcat12 - use USDA nutritional database.

You will find that there are a ton of wrong entries. I don't even use the database anymore. I just look it up on the computer from the USDA - it's faster. And before anyone complains that there are USDA entries in MFP that I could use, I sometimes don't have time to find them. I have tried searching for USDA entries, and sometimes get them, and sometimes don't. Not worth the time or frustration.

This is why I log foods manually and don't share them, rather than using the database, it's the only way I know each time I add the food to my diary it's correct. Even if you add something from the database one day and it's accurate, someone can edit it the next day so then when you add it thinking it's correct it isn't. I never trust the database.

I never realized it'd be so full of carbs.

Isn't blood only like, average 5 mM glucose? I'd expect more protein in there...

According to the entry it's 97% carbs. Maybe their enemy was diabetic... (I highly doubt the accuracy of that entry, but it proves the point about not trusting the database).

Learned that today. Said prosciutto was 500 calories for 2 ounces. An entry from Aldi was only 50 calories per ounce.
