Increased protein, decreased BMs...

I feel like I’ve been posting non stop on here but the more I learn the more questions I have!!
Anyway, I’m sorry but this is something I’ve got to ask and it’s about to get a little TMI lol....I’ve noticed since I’ve increased my protein intake and lowered my carbs the last 3 weeks, even my post morning coffee potty visit isn’t as productive - and that’s usually what keeps me pretty regular. I haven’t been getting a full 64 oz of h20 so I realize that could also be a problem, but I’m thinking maybe a lack of fiber is causing it? Anybody else experience this??? Any suggestions?

Less fibre = less bulk, less to help things move along...
Potentially less fat in your diet too (perhaps, if you've increased protein)? That may make a difference.
Are you specifically meaning the amount you do, or the frequency?1 -
Consider your fiber and fat intake.0

Amount I do. Currently I am on 1300 calories - 25% carb 35% fat 40% protein. I don’t worry if I go over my fat by a bit and I don’t always meet my protein goals, may come within 10g some days0 -
Well actually both now that I think about it. I usually go 2-3 times a day, now I’m going only twice and not having much luck0

You're on low calories, and lowish carbs.... You perhaps just have less to get rid of as well!0 -
Going from 3x to 2 doesn't sound like much of a concern.
I went from every day to maybe once per week. Enjoy.0 -
Add leafy greens for low calorie fiber: broccoli rabe, swiss chard, kale, . . .
Also consider flaxseed or chia seeds for more fiber and fat.

Do you happen to know if cooked kale will still work ? I have a kale recipe that tastes like collard greens that I love (basically slow cook in lentil soup - though I’d have to check carb count on that)1 -
Yes. Cooked will have the same amount of fiber. Collard greens are worth a try as well.1
