What's up fitness community! My goal is to stay consistent with my eating habits and put on as much lean mass as possible haha. What's your goals? It's always easier to achieve something together than alone

I want to be strong and lean. Sucks because they conflict, at least for me. Even when I'm fat I'm not that strong and even when I'm lean I'm not that lean.5
-
I agree they do conflict. I want to look good but at the same time be able to lift heavy. I think what helps with that is to incorporate some heavy lifting exercises and high rep exercises in order to balance everything out1
-
I want to reduce body fat %, build a rounder bum and have muscle definition on my back.
3 -
My goals have more to do with successfully completing events.3
-
I'd like to lose some weight but I'm training for my first ultra and being on a deficit during that is not proving to be fun. I think I'd rather successfully complete the ultra than lose a few kgs, but let's see if I can do both...2
-
Seems like a simple one but I want to be able to touch my toes by the end of 2018!9
-
I want to be able to wipe my own butt when I'm 105.
17 -
I want to take the strain off my joints (Arthritis) But also to wear a bikini in the summer and not look too awful.2
-
My fitness goals are the standard goals that everyone aspires to - human flag, planche, one minute free-standing handstand, one handed pull up. Just the regular stuff.8
-
I want to preserve muscle while losing weight. Better muscle definition is a perk, though not my main goal. And if my walking speed and coordination improve, bonus!2

I set my 2018 goals in December.
200# squat (already at 198)
250# deadlift (already ay 227)
135# bench (currently at 122)
115# OHP (currently at 105)
My prediction is that I'm going to destroy squat and DL, but bench and OHP will take me all year.7 -
I want my little area of stubborn lower belly fat to get the f* out. And I want to be strong.6

Bench and ohp are really hard for me to progress in as well.3 -
I want to build my muscle in my booty/upper body. I already lost my weight now to just try to fill in the loose skin and rebuild all the muscle my dumb *kitten* let slip away xD My goals are pretty much to even my body up...top halfs so jiggly with skin and legs dont even wiggle if i punch them LOL thats what 2 years of walking 10-15 miles a day lifting furniture does to a leg. Im uneven lol0

Just keep building the bod. Also get stronger, better at yoga, have fun.1

This is pretty much what I want as well.1 -

Very standard. Very similar to mine.1 -
Awesome fitness goals everyone! Mine is to earn a pro card in a natural bodybuilding competition this year. I am competing May 19th and recently started cutting.2

I'd like to run a 21 minute 5k, get to 20 pull-ups, squat 1.5x my body weight (so about 218 lbs), and bench my body weight (145 lbs). I need to figure out where I'm at for deadlift to figure out what a reasonable goal would be for that as well.
I realize MFP is more diet (as in, what you eat) focused and geared towards weight as a measurement- but it would be great if one day they added features to track fitness related goals that aren't related to one's weight (not that it's very difficult to track on your own, but still, it'd be cool).2 -

I just downloaded an app called fitnotes that can track your lifts for you.

@BeccaLoves2lift
Cool! I'll have to check it out. Thanks for the tip.2 -

Those are some great (and contradictory) goals. Being strong and running a fast 5k together are really tough. I ran my fastest 5k (21:50) at 114#. I'm currently 138 (bulking) and can squat 198, bench 122, and DL 227, but my 5k time is closer to 24. Best of luck to you and I hope you can do it all!2 -

Thanks, and those are some impressive numbers
! I know it's contradictory, but my job requires me to run as part of an annual fitness test, and 21 minutes would 'max' the event for me - so, may as well push myself for it. My fastest was 21:13 at a similar weight to what I am now, but that was several years ago. I'm getting back into the running rhythm recently, at about an 8:00/mile pace now, so I think it's feasible if I can stay consistent. It'll be a balancing act, but I'll see what happens. :-)
I need to get my 1RM in those lifts to really determine where I'm at, but from recent working sets, I'd say I'm probably close to a 190 squat, at least 100 bench (did 4x8 reps with 40 lb DBs, so I figure add at least 20 with a bar for 1 rep), and 14 pull-ups.

2x body weight squats
2.5 body weight deadlifts
1.5 body weight bench
Run a marathon (in 2019)2 -
Oh also I want to squat 260, deadlift 405, and bench 135.7

I think you just might be determined enough to do it!2 -

Omg, that area is such a struggle! Standing up I'm flat and then I sit down looking like a kangaroo pouch1
