Was just wondering if there is a best time of day for eating breakfast, lunch and dinner that helps with weight loss, for instance is there a latest time in the evening when you should eat.

    Nope. There are metabolic benefits to having long gaps between meals, AKA intermittent fasting -- but it won't necessarily contribute to weight loss. It all boils down to what makes healthy eating possible for you.

    Depends entirely on your body. In general, when you eat has no bearing on how fast it is digested and passed. However, some people find that eating later makes it harder to sleep at night, which affects thier sleep, which makes them exhausted, and harder for the body to efficiently process food, (and everything else for that matter), but others (like me) HAVE to eat later, because they can't sleep hungry, because it affects thier sleep...
    Some people need a good breakfast in the morning to fuel them through the day, and help even out cravings. Some people get nauseous for breakfast, and can't eat anything for a couple hours after getting up.
    Some people do better with 6 small meals paced evenly throughout the day, some react better with only one or two larger meals, and maybe a small snack at some point if they get hungry.
    And sometimes people experience all of the above at different points in thier lives.
    The best way to find out which method works best for you is to log regularly. First stick with your normal habits and keep a log of what you eat, how much, when and how you feel before, during and after. Once you have a solid baseline, you can start experimenting with different eating styles, and see what changes.

    Timing doesn't really matter if you are eating the same amount of calories. There is no best time for everyone.

    Some people find eating most of the calories at a certain time keeps them from overeating. Other people like to eat many smaller meals throughout the day. Split your calories up however works best for you and your lifestyle.
