5’3, started my weight loss journey in September:

If it makes you feel any better, I have been doing MFP on and off since 2011. At that time I was my “heaviest,” so I got on and lost about 40 pounds. I got comfortable, stopped tracking, and started gaining. I got back up there, got back on and started losing again, again probably lost the 40 I had just gained back.
In February 2014 I had climbed to my “heaviest” and decided that wasn’t going to help me get what I wanted, a child (and to look good in the 2 weddings I was in and 3 others that I was attending that summer!). So I climbed back on the wagon and lost about the 50 pounds I had gained, and the next thing you know I was expecting (and looked fantastic in my dresses!) I didn’t make the best of choices, and gained the 50 pounds back during my pregnancy that I had lost right before. (Quite a bit turned out to be water weight and my kid (9 pounds 10.4 ounces- as I had gone in looking like I was having twins until they broke my water and I was half the size, needless to say my kid had an awesome water bed for 41 weeks lol). Of that 50 I had gained, I lost 30 within a month or two. I wouldn’t say my choices over the next year and a half were comfort choices, but more stress eating choices. I went back to work 6 weeks after having my son (I’m a teacher, he was born 7/2015 and we had a new administration and I had a new co-worker in my grade). The stress of new expectations and a co-worker who I ending up having to do all of his work on top of my own led me to not caring or having the time to care about myself and I got to my all-time heaviest. I was 25 pounds heavier than when I was preganant, having gained 75 pounds from 2/2014 to 2/2018 (50 of those pounds came on after 10/2015). Needless to say after going on a family vacation in February of 2017 and seeing the pictures, I was disgusted by what I saw. I hopped back on in April of 2017 (after some more self destructive behaviors). I have been logging for 283 days now and have lost almost 54 pounds. I am happy to say I have lost over 50, I have a new lead number, and I’m about 35 pounds away from goal (55 if I want to get back to my absolute lowest of 2004). Needless to say, you aren’t alone, we are all humans, and unfortunately we are our own worst enemy. Keep your head up and put one foot in front of the other. You will get there!

I’ve had a very busy day! We went to nanas in the morning as usual on a Wednesday, then my son had his swimming lesson (which is when I get my 30 mins swim in) then a nice long walk home after dinner! We have our tea with our NEW OVEN

Then out of the blue my ex calls (my sons father who I’ve not heard from for 3 years (my sons 2.5 years (yes we split when I was pregnant lol))) so all goes down hill and he’s demanding right left and centre so I’m stress and comfort eating yet again :,( x7 -

I’m in! I joined the January challenge then got sick (Again!) and went wildly off-diet and gained a couple pounds. Struggling to eat healthy but restarted on Monday and hoping to stick with it this month.
