Tips for dropping water weight?

My GI doctor put me on a med that is causing me to hold onto water like crazy. What foods do y’all like to eat to drop the water? I’ve grabbed some asparagus and carrots and green tea but I’m looking for additional ideas. Also to the women who do weight training, how much sodium do you intake in a day?

Have you talked to your doctor about this? Maybe there are better alternatives without this side effect.2

I don't anything to "drop the water" other than make sure I'm drinking enough water. But I don't have the medication issue.
Sodium for weight training - between 3000-5000 mgs a day.1 -
It’s only a 2 week med some I’m not that concerned about the side effect since the benefits of the med out weighs the side effects!0

I intake a loooot of sodium. Luckily I have super low blood pressure, so there is no issue from doing so. The only thing I've noticed that quickly drops water weight is go really low carb for a little bit. Of course you will gain it back once you introduce carbs back into your system.0

If I was temporarily on a medicine that was causing me to retain water, I don't think I'd even worry about it.2

Lots of water, coffee, and dandelion root tea. If you can sit in a sauna for a couple sessions that may help as well.0

Don’t drink water.
Reduce sodium intake.
Raise body temperature and heart rate.
Take dangerous substances.6 -

Make sure the lid is on tight so it doesn't spill.0
